  • Location, cleanliness, affordable, nice beach across street.
  • Busy lobby area, expensive buffet.

“The location is at the end of the main drag or strip in Waikiki. It is directly across the street from a nice little beach area a lot more secluded and private that the main Waikiki beach hotels. The hotel is big, has a grand restaurant with huge aquarium for walls. Our room was just fine. We did not rely on the staff of the hotel for anything except check in. There is an ABC store on the street (ABC's everywhere). We were perfectly satisfied in all respects.”

“We stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel and had a terrible experience.”

  • Employees are great.
  • Owner/management is horrible.

“Forget this place. I love the location and the great staff, but I won't stay there anymore until management starts showing some respect for the employees. The hotel didn't give raises for ten years in a row, then stacked the vote illegally and hired goons when the workers tried to join a union. When the workers finally got their union, the hotel dragged negotiations out for two years, and now is going to fire everyone right before Christmas. I've met many of the workers, and some of them have been there for twenty or thirty years or more. It's just not right, how they're being treated.”
