• The staff was great, accommodating and very friendly.
• The photos were not from this hotel, or were manipulated to make rooms look more spacious.

“This is an economy hotel, nothing more or less. I stayed at this hotel to sleep, not hang out, which was good, considering the amenities. The "continental breakfast" consisted of OJ, coffee, and Costco pastries. No fresh fruit of any kind was available. There was also no internet. The staff was very nice, and assisted with beach towels and umbrellas, as the weather dictated.”

• Liked lave, the guy at the front desk.
• Everything else.

“Okay. I couldn't believe how small and rundown the elevator was. The carpet was so stained that I was afraid to put my things on the floor, and you have to because there is nowhere else to put them. The linens are clean and the staff is friendly but the building and facilities are very run down. The location is great, right across the street from the beach. The lobby doesn't even look remotely close to what is shown, the rooms are not nearly as nice. I actually started laughing when I got into my room, that's pretty bad right?”

• The location.
• Stinky, dirty, tiny equally dirty elevator, no non smoking rooms, downright nasty.

“This hotel is a DUMP! When my daughter walked in the door we were greeted with the aroma of stale cigarette smoke and a downright dirty overall appearance. When we asked for non smoking rooms we were told they aren't available. To 2 ladies with asthma, this was not what we wanted/needed. Charming. When we checked out our assigned rooms they smelled so nasty we had to leave and find other (more costly) accommodations. On top of that, the carpeting in one of the rooms was soaking wet. Oh, and the elevator is not much bigger than a bathtub. Overall, this place is a vile place to stay in spite of its location. We wish we had saved our money and stayed home.”

• The only this I liked about this hotel was the gentleman that was in the day shift.
• The hotel was very musty, which affected my asthma therefore I could not sleep and got very ill.

“The first day I arrived I got very ill due to the musty unit. I asked for a refund but was advised that I could not. The day manager was very obliging and did everything he could to help me get at least a day's refund.”

• Conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki, across from the beach. We appreciated the continental breakfast each morning. Friendly, helpful staff.
• Carpet in room was soiled.

“Located in the heart of Waikiki, walk across the street and you're at the beach. Continental breakfast each morning was ample and fresh. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. Good value for the dollar spent. We plan to return.”
