• Great location.
• You can't bring guests to your room.

“The front desk manager and staff, restricted me from bringing my aunt and my mom to visit me in my hotel room because both weren't registered guests. The hotel recently got a room trashed by a guest who had a room party, so now the hotel staff has punished everyone by restricting access to rooms to only registered guests. It felt more like a college Dorm than a hotel and we were treated as such. I will never stay here again”

• It had a bed.
• The parking was horrible even though we paid for a spot in their parking lot.

• The only thing I liked was the cleanliness.
• No tub and very small.

“The cost came out more than expected, the bathroom was supper small, there was no tub, the fridge was so tiny and there was no microwave. Plus the hotel staff was always standing by the elevators constantly.”

• Location, other than that I loved the shower, it was amazing.
• I did not like the fact that you needed a room key to access elevator, it was a hassle to look for it all the time and noise from outside.

“Hotel wasn't luxurious or anything, but it was nice and clean and well worth it. Location was the key element, too. All bus lines stopped right in front of it and a short walk to the beach 2 blocks gave us a chance to browse through little strands in the international market place that was also right across the street from the Ohana West. We got the corner room on the 10th floor so we had a great view out the window on 2 sides of the islands through balcony on 1 side and large window on the other. The shower was great. The pressure was so high and water temp. So steady, great back massage after the long day. One thing that was not so great was a noise coming up from the street. That city never sleeps and Kuhio Ave is a busy one, if not the busiest. I think I wouldn't mind staying at that hotel again for the same price that is.”

• Clean, small simple room if that's what you are looking for.
• You could wait 5 minutes for an elevator.

“I just needed a room and this was more than adequate. There is nothing fancy here and no amenities to speak of. It was fine for the price but you won't get internet and parking will be $13 a day - so be aware of that. The elevators were poor and it took a while to get one. If you are on a small budget and can deal with a simple small room with no frills - this hotel will suffice.”

• central located and just overall nice everyone and everything
• 3 elevators and like all the rest of the hotels slow

“We stayed in March of 03 October of 04 and have booked for Jan 06 very much enjoyed this hotel central located clean nice staff and we book thru www.pleasantholidays.com and they have a booth in the hotel. Chilis is there and across the street is Denny's country western bar in basement grocery store across the street star bucks in hotel you name it In oct the only disappoint was since the street was torn up we had to walk two blocks to get the tour buses instead of across the street will stay again.”
