  • The little restaurant in the lobby had an excellent breakfast.
  • I expected a double or queen size bed, but at check in was told only 2 twin size beds were available.

“This joint is a no star hotel. The room was extremely small. I couldn't roll my carry-on through the door and past the furniture. A/C provided by a window unit. If you like lots of black hair on your clean towels and in the room each day after it's serviced, then this IS the place for you. The elevators and hallways smell like a wet dog. Parking is $14/day cash only. The front desk staff lacked most phone etiquette skills and would usually answer my call by picking up the phone and putting it on the desk without saying anything so I could listen to them chat with their friends for as long as I could take it. Either that or they'd pick it up and hang up. Water pressure in the room was very low, and the temperature was constantly and I do mean constantly varying from cold to scalding hot. Very difficult to shower. Location was good though, right on the edge of Waikiki.”

  • The security measures helped us feel more comfortable.
  • Very old and worn in common areas.

“The hotel met our needs for a safe and relatively clean place to stay at night for a necessary trip to the city to take care of some appointments. It wasn't a romantic getaway or other relaxing trip so it didn't really matter that the room was really basic.”

  • Great wake up calls.
  • Parking, service, cleanliness.

“Hotel parking is a highway robbery, room filled with ants, did not change sheets or bedding, had to beg for extra towels, did not clean bathrooms in the room on four separate occasion, did not replace or clean the coffee in the room, or clean the microwave.”

  • It was cheap enough for an overnight stay before flying to Kona.
  • $12 parking. Strange layout of the rooms. The ice machine is on a different floor as is the soda machine.

“Friends and I stayed here in February. We needed a room for 2 overnight stays - one at the beginning of our trip and one at the end. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay for the night, then this is bad but if you're planning to stay for a few days I'd look elsewhere. When we booked this hotel, the $12 parking for 24 hours wasn't mentioned. (If you're driving a bigger vehicle be careful, the parking spaces are very tight.) The entire layout of the hotel is very strange. We stayed on the 12th floor but had to go to the 5th for the ice and soda machine. Everything in this hotel is controlled by your electronic room key and half the time we couldn't get the elevator to work and once we were in the room with the ice and soda machine, we didn't think we'd ever make it out. We saw others struggling with the elevator as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”

  • Nice location close to everything.
  • Needs renovation.

“This hotel was close to everything but age is catching up to the interior of it.”

  • Close to the Convention Center.
  • Some of the clientele are "sketchy" and it wasn't clean.

“The hotel is very close to the Hawaii convention center and an easy walk into Waikiki. The hotel staff was decent. The hotel room was so-so (a little bit dirty and small) but it did have a fridge and microwave. The room next to mine had a very busy hooker (fortunately not too loud). Overall it was comparable to other 2 star hotels I've stayed at in Waikiki - in general I felt safe at this hotel (but not if I had kids with me).”

  • The ocean view and the mountain view.
  • I did not paying an extra fee for parking ( 12.00 per day).

“This was an OK location and good ocean view.”
