Union Square Travel Guide

Union Square

The commercial and financial centers of San Francisco, these neighborhoods feature posh department stores and streets lined with outdoor cafes. Walk a few block into the Financial District and you'll find headquarters for several major corporations including Bank of America, Charles Schwab, and the Transamerica Corporation -- famous for its 48-floor pyramid. Chinatown is a short walk from this neighborhood. Hotels here offer easy access to Golden Gate University, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Moscone Convention Center and the Bay Bridge to Oakland.
