Rawlins has a small town atmosphere. People are friendly and willing to point you in the correct direction. We have the Old Wyoming state Pen here with a great history behind it. Big Nose George sckull is in the muesuem here. Fishing and hunting is only 20 miles away. We have lots of hotels and motels in our town as when the snow comes we have lots of travelers that stay here due to the friendly atmosphere in our small town. In the summer we have music in the park on Thursday evenings. The best hot dogs in town with live music and beer. We have alot of oil field stuff going on here and around here in wamsutter, and bags Wyoming.
