McCall, a community of 2,500, is nestled along Payette Lake at an elevation of 5,030 feet. Surrounded by the Payette National Forest, McCall offers easy access to both Nordic and alpine skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, golfing, in addition to many different water sports. McCall is less than a 15 minute drive from Brundage Mountain ski resort and within 30 minutes from Tamarack resort, which recently opened to snow skiers in 2004.
