Middleton Place Foundation
Apr 26, 2008 by Connie from Columbia, S.C.
Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • Cost, food, nothing to see or do unless willing to pay additional fees.

“We had lunch at the restaurant and it was the worst 30 minute wait when not busy and food that was unpalatable and service that was less friendly than a fast food place.”

Middleton Place Foundation
Mar 12, 2008 by Lisa from Kentucky
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • The gardens are exceptional.
  • The prices seem incredibly high.

“The gardens at Middleton Place are incredibly beautiful and very extensive. There is definitely a lot to see, even for someone (like me) who is not that knowledgeable about plants and gardens. The house museum was pretty good, but you should know that it is not the original home. For the price of admission, I wouldn't recommend it over some of the other homes in Charleston.”

The Redneck Shop
Mar 11, 2008 by Scott from Cleveland
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • I like the fact you posted a story about the redneck store.
  • I dont like the 1st. comment the black guy made about the store.

“There's nothing wrong with the redneck shop! You black people have your NAACP and your black history month which is never celebrated by true white people any way! And youre bet channels and youre still not happy! There's Nothing white people can ever do to ever satisfy your people anyway! You will never be happy! Youre complaining about a store! In our country we have freedom of speech and you need to learn this! You should be happy you all aren't put on a ship and shipped back to Africa! If you don't like it! Don't go to the store! What's the problem? You think your going to run our country now? It's not going to happen! If you don't like It! Go back to Africa! Lowlife! As far as your blue eyed girlfriend. Take her with your black ass.”

  • Nice folks.
  • Laurens isn't easy to find.

“Everything you would ever need redneck in one place. If they don't have it doesn't exist.”

The Redneck Shop
Mar 10, 2008 by Bob Bob from Lake Worth, Fl
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • History and memorabilia all in one.
  • I can't get a franchise to have one myself.

“The Redneck Shop IS not just a t-shirt place, but, an actual museum of Southern History. Like it or not, it truly reveals feelings in the Deep South. It's even owned (the building not the business) by an "African American" and he is a reverend to boot. Can't get any better than that.”
