Beacon Drive In Theatre
Aug 5, 2009 by Barry from Kewanee, Ill.
Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Everything but the bathrooms.
  • The bathrooms.

“I'm 58 years young. I grew up in the hey-day of Drive-Inn Theatres. This could not be any more authentic. It's the real thing/absolutely awesome. I'd give it a 10 if it wasn't for the bathrooms. They're my only negative.”

Brookside Golf Club & Pro Shop
Mar 16, 2009 by Robbie from Waco
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Solid course layout, low cost.
  • Lack of bunkers.

“I guess its all in the eye of the beholder because my experience at Brookside was very good. Starting with the fact that the greens was good for all you can play all day. I enjoyed everything about my trip around Brookside, GC. Nice mix of holes; 2 very good par, good par, and a very tough par. Water very much in play on 4 holes and the greens were very good, rolled very true. The only thing lacking was bunkers, I think a few could be added here and there to toughen up the course a bit. Overall, a very fun, sporty little nine that I will definitely play again should I find myself in OKC again.”

Har-Ber Village Museum Inc
Sep 26, 2008 by Larry Tucker from Arkadelphia, Ar
Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7

  • Exhibits, layout.
  • Misleading time of closure, very rude individual on golf cart.

“Let me start with the display. It was wonderful, however do not be deceived as we were. Closing is at 5:40 not 6:00. With 2-4 displays left at 5:40 the doors to the displays were locked and we were rudely told that is was basically our tough luck if we didn't see it all, but they we had to be out of the parking lot by 6:00 regardless of what we had missed. One of the exhibits we missed was the very one my grandson had been waiting for. Again, do not expect to be able to look until 6:00, you will be disappointed in a very unsociable way!”
