Thunder Lanes, Llc

“On Friday nights they cut out cosmic bowling so all the drunks can drink and bowl. Pretty pathetic we cant even take our kids out. The smell of cigarette smoke and sewage about knocks you down. There is never anyone at the snack bar and they are always out of something. In my opinion this place doesn't even deserve a 1. The lanes are also warped. And we have to sit half the time waiting on someone to send our balls back because they get stuck. Go to Franklin. Thats what you call a bowling alley.”

- Course layout is nice.
- No watering holes and no sand in traps.
“Course layout was nice, back teas make course more challenging, leave sand wedge at home, no sand in bunkers, no water jugs on entire course played in July would have been nice to get a drink of water during play. They discouraged coolers as well.”

- Friendly staff.
- Lack of maintenance.
“Neat place to take kids of all ages. Friendly staff. Putt putt course (our main interest) was badly in need of attention. Though it is a cool course, it needs a lot of repairs. Overall, celebration station provides a fun day out with the kids.”

- Has great and awesome rides for the whole family!
- Doesn't have enough rides where kids, that are 11 who don't like heights, could ride on!
“I love emerald point! It is the BEST water park ever!”

- Pool and horseshoes.
- Roads were bumpy and washed out. Staff not polite and no activities.
“We went to Outdoor World for a couple of days this week (Thursday to Saturday). We were not that impressed with the place. This campground's roads were very bumpy and washed out. The bathrooms were old and could've used some updates. The staff was not very knowledgeable about what was going on. They say they have boat and Canoe rentals and when we asked, they said they didn't rent anymore and I told her that they probably need to update their website. Her answer was, "I don't have anything to do with that". My husband also told them there was no soap in the men's bathroom, and the lady said "that's housekeeping's responsibility" and later that night, there was still no soap in their bathroom. This was just so unacceptable. I couldn't believe the attitude. There was also no activities planned during our stay, which was really disappointing since they seemed to have a really nice covered pavilion with dance lights for a band or DJ. We did however enjoy the pool and the horseshoes and the free boat launch for our boat. We would like to have played on their putt-putt course, but it was covered with pine straw and wasn't swept or blowed at all during our stay.”
