Windy Hills Golf Course Ltd

  • Challenging and interesting course.
  • Poor service.

“I'm writing to express my disappointment with the reservation staff. Last week Sept. 17th 2009 I called for a Tee Time for Saturday Sept. 26th as our group was heading North again this year and was told by a gentleman, there was a tournament in the morning and the earliest Tee Time I could get was 12:30. I took the 12:30 time and was assured it would be no problem. I called this evening 9/24 to confirm the time and now I find out the course is closed after the tournament for grounds work and we can't play. I asked if my name was in the book for a Tee Time and it's not. One mistake, last year I can understand but two years in a row is too much. Sad to say I have lost all faith in the staff and the ability to do something as simple as reserve a Tee Time at Windy Hills. The course is enjoyable to play but reservations are not reliable and there are courses just down the road that I can depend on.”

Yankee Stadium
Jul 29, 2009 by Connie from Forest, VA
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • The design and accessibility.
  • High price of food & drinks inside the stadium.

“Loved the new stadium! It has spacious walkways, lots of places within the stadium to shop and eat, and the museum and Monument Park are a must-see for fans. The people there are very friendly and helpful. They've maintained the ambiance of the old stadium in design, while improving and updating the facility. We love to get there early so we have lots of time to enjoy the experience. Also, there are lots of little shops in the area outside of the stadium, if you want to buy clothing, memorabilia, souvenirs, etc. at a more reasonable, family-friendly price. Inside the stadium things are overpriced, but probably no more than at any other stadium or tourist attraction. Stadium is a definite must see!”
