Twin Lakes Travel Park
Oct 28, 2009 by Roland from Davie

  • I only visited so can leave any time.

“This place is terrible. My good friend has been renting there for 3 1/2 years and has tolerated more than anyone else I know would ever even consider putting up with. The water is constantly off and tastes like run off from the city decompose dump just across the main road. Never drink that water. It will make you sick and when you shower you actually feel dirtier than before the shower and after a while you smell like decomposing trash. Its very over priced for what you get/don't get. They do not enforce the noise laws nor do they enforce the policy of others staying off the rented lots of others. I personally have watched as a neighbor walks within just several inches of my friends window and he has complained repeatedly and endlessly. They do nothing. The only resolve is to just leave or best yet not even consider using that RV Park. I would never rent there nor would I ever recommend anyone to rent there for any amount of time. I didn't even see them worth of the 1 rating I gave. Thats my own honest opinion after having visited there many times. Stay away from this one and spend your money on something much better and more relaxing.”

Downtown Disney Village
Oct 26, 2009 by Margaret Eastman from N Redington Beach, FL

  • The charm of the original place is gone.

“I have been going to Downtown Disney Village since it was Buena Vista Village and I still enjoy it a lot. I do think that it has become too commercial and has lost a lot of it charm over the years. I loved the place when it was small, I remember the small shops that were along the parking lot side, they were very unique and now as with all else, it has all been changed to Disney items. I remember my husband and I used to like to be there when it was quite cool and a light rain falling. We would just walk for hours, so beautiful and romantic, now it is all business, very crowded. I still enjoy coming occasionally but it has changed.”

Disney World
Oct 25, 2009 by Vanessa from Indianapolis
Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • I loved space ship earth, a grand feature of Epcot.
  • The cost of food was astronomical.

“I had never visited Disney before and had no intentions of doing so. While other parents were making the family jaunt to Orlando, I was taking my daughter to London and Bangkok. So when my daughter, a CP there, insisted that time at Disney would be more than worth my while, I decided to open my mind and my purse. Need I say, I am writing this review because I was taken aback by the magic of Disney. Every park, every ride, every convenience is well-appointed, meticulously and gloriously planned to the nano-detail! All is thoughtful, clean, safe, and engaging. It is a world of ultra-imagined adventures and experiences. If I ever read that book about the 100 things to do before one dies, I would expect to find Disney on that list.”

Ginnie Spring Outdoors LLC
Oct 19, 2009 by Scott from St. Pete
Overall Rating: 4 User Rating Score: 4

  • Spring and river were beautiful, plenty of tubes and canoes.
  • Expensive, below average restrooms, and basic sites.

“We had six adults and 3 children under age 6 in one campsite and the price was crazy. They charged for the site plus per person (over the age of 6) per night. If you weren't on the river the sites were very basic for the price. The restrooms were below average. In addition, it didn't seem to be any oversight by management. Campers partied with extremely loud music until 4:30 AM. The inner tube and canoe rentals seemed nice and convenient. The campground store was nice.”

Fort Walton Beach Golf Club
Sep 30, 2009 by Mike from Cleveland, Tennessee
Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Just about everything.
  • They try to pair you up with someone when by yourself.

“I've played at Fort Walton Golf club, the last three years we have been on vacation there. The courses both pines and oaks are a joy to play. I played every day a couple of weeks ago and had a blast. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The grounds keepers do excellent job keeping the courses in great shape. I would put FWB golf club up against our Country club here. I look forward to playing again next year. I'm a member of our city owned course here and its like playing in a rock pile compared to FWB.”
