Holiday Inn San Diego-On The Bay
Oct 19, 2009 by Tony from Rancho Cucamonga,CA
Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7

  • Great location – on the water.
  • $22 for parking makes any downtown hotel a ripoff.

“This is a good place to stay for business travelers, or for anyone taking the train into the city. The location is great, but if you don't need to be downtown, there are lots of nice areas of San Diego where you will get more for your money.”

  • Too noisy. Excessive parking charge, $22/day.

“Rooms on the back side of hotel are too noisy due to freight train and trolly traffic until after midnight. Parking fee of $22/day is excessive.”

Pelican Point R V Park
Sep 29, 2009 by Steve from Idyllwild
Overall Rating: 2 User Rating Score: 2

  • Great location.
  • Everything about the stay.

“The manager shows bad judgment, he yells at his customers. We were even charged for guests that would only be there an hour and walked in. Really is too bad because this could be a great stop, we will never try it again after the horrible experience we had.”
