Manila Polo Club
Sep 4, 2009 by maricris from manila
Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • I liked the waiters.
  • I did not like the food too much. Different menu for a non-member and for members.

“Manila Polo Club has one of the best services in Manila. The employees are attentive, polite, always smiling, and willing to help you out. It's a different ambiance altogether when you're there. It's similar to the caste system with members and non members, but that's OK because that's what the membership is for - bragging rights. I think I even saw a wanna-be Padre Damaso lurking around. Not a place I would want to be - as a non-member.”

Ortigas Center
Jun 7, 2009 by Rema from Cebu-Wales/Uk
Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8

  • The first mail that we sent to is quick.
  • But the second one is a bit late and until now my family are still waiting for it.

“I never been in the Central Post Office in Manila but I really appreciate how they look after the building. It really looks nice even if it is built long time ago. I am hoping that the mail that we are sending to Cebu will be deliver soon.”

  • Seclude.
  • Not well maintained, limited activities to do.

“This probably was very good resort when it started but it's showing it's age and not well maintained.”

Binondo Church
Apr 4, 2008 by omar from USA
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Beautiful church and very friendly people.
  • Too much traffic and no right of way.

“Very nice historical church in the heart of Chinatown in the Philippines. Beautiful paintings on the ceilings and you just feel the history of the church. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Just be careful of the traffic. Pedestrians do not have the right of way in the Philippines.”

Monasterio de Santa Clara
Sep 27, 2007 by sharon from london,canada
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Beautiful, peaceful spot.
  • Hard to get to. Driver got lost.

“Last December my son got married in the Philippines. A week before the wedding ,the brides parents brought us here to pray for good weather on the wedding day and for the bride and groom to have a wonderful life together. Its a beautiful spot in the midst of such a hectic city. Very tranquil, peaceful.”
