“Poor customer service and professionalism! Had a misunderstanding on the number of days that we were staying. I admit fault for it, but received a nasty voice mail while out site seeing saying that there was an emergency and that we needed to call them immediately. I thought that our RV had been hit or caught fire. I couldn't believe it was over not checking out. Then when we spoke via the phone, we were told that we were over one day, when we stated that we had paid for three days, they stated that we would have to bring in the receipt to prove our stance. We got off the phone and I then did the math and realized that we had stayed longer than the thought, called them back to be told that they had already charged our credit card. When we got back that night, there was a rude note on our RV that "check out is at 11:00 tomorrow" in bold print but that we had to check in with them before we left. I am sure that the exchange will not be pleasant nor professional. I truly regret staying here and will be sure to tell everyone and every travel site to avoid this place like the plague! Go to Garden of the Gods. However, be aware that they too close at 4:00 pm. I can't believe that a campsite can do this successfully and to not arrive at night as their site is poorly lit and the maps do not help either. Colorado Springs, CO is beautiful and I want to come back, just need to do more research on where there are truly friendly owners and more conveniently located.” Aug 4, 2008 by

“Extremely unhelpful and uninformative when making the reservation. When I needed to cancel the reservation I was informed there was a $5 service fee. This fee was not explained when making the reservation. I would not have solidified the reservation if I new there was a cancellation fee. Lynn was kind enough to refund all my money, but was upset. He then hung up on me. My overall opinion of every employee at this facility is low because they all seem rude. I only stay at KOA's when we travel. This one will never make the list of places to stay.” Attraction Representatives:
