“Great children's museums - and there are a lot of them in the NYC area - have a few things in common: exhibits that are geared to a wide variety of ages, that engage multiple intelligences, that are authentically interactive, and that seem the really want kids to learn something. That's not what the Dinosaur Walk is. Instead, there is about two dozen models of dinos - some whole ones, some heads - with wordy and difficult full-page descriptions next to them, more suited to a good 12 year old reader than to younger kids. There is no effort to put the animals in any sort of logical or chronological order, and certainly no attempt to give kids a sense of zoology or evolution. A couple of dinky computer monitors are the "interactive" part of the exhibit, and a table with crayons and dinosaur picture books are the only nod to toddlers. If you want your kids to explore the world of dinosaurs in a sophisticated, interactive atmosphere, give this place a pass and head to the Museum of Natural History.” Oct 29, 2006 by

“My two kids and I really loved the place. We spent over 2 hours there - we did all of the interactive activities, read about each of the exhibits and watched 2 different dinosaur movies (which were excellent) in the theatres. I learned a lot of things I never knew about dinosaurs. I think Elaine or her kids must have a very short attention span; and yes, the t-rex was 2 stories tall and rises up through an opening in the ceiling so you start on the lower level and continue upstairs to see the rest. I thought that was very clever. Unlike Elaine in Brentwood, I am going to highly recommend dinosaur walk to my kid¿s school for an educational field trip.” Sep 14, 2006 by

“It was fun. The kids had a blast (they are nuts for dinosaurs), my wife and I were impressed with the models, and we all learned something new. ” Sep 14, 2006 by

“Those Dinosaurs were awesome! I can't believe how realistic dinosaur sculptures have become. The information was excellent, and movies were entertaining. I would buy an annual pass if I lived there! ” Aug 27, 2006 by

“Very well laid out exhibits and very accurate representations of dinosaurs. Best suited for younger kids - but anyone with an interest in dinosaurs would enjoy it. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Our visit to this museum got us a discount at the Atlantis Aquarium. ” Jul 3, 2006 by

“I felt it was a big waste of time and money. my children were bored quickly. At first they liked it, but once they realized there wasn't much to it, they couldn't wait to leave. It is so small that we tried to take our time and walk slow because we couldn't believe that we spent as much as we did for what we got. Some children probably really enjoy it , but I think even those parents have to admit that it really is small and you could be in and out of that place in about 20mins -25 tops. there just isn't a whole lot to look at. some of the exhibits on the first floor showed the dinosaurs feet, then you have to go upstairs to see the head! My son's school wanted to go on a field trip there, but a few of the parents wrote in and said" don't do it!". ” Attraction Representatives:
