  • Only Dayton and Pensacola flight museums are better. Aircraft at those museums are static displays. The aircraft at LSFM are airworthy and fly frequently.
  • Short a few aircraft.

“Best kept and run museum of the many I've visited. Only museums even a modicum better are the Navy museum in Pensacola, the Air Force museum in Dayton, and the Museum of Flight in Seattle. The LSFM needs a few more aircraft, specificaly a P-51, a P-40, and maybe a P-39. The volunteers do a great job keeping the aircraft ready for flight. The museums docents are the best.”
