“We didn't have reservations but stood first in line for standby. They served drinks but you get it yourself. The show was non stop laughing out loud. A good mix of skits, music, magic and funny costumes. I would go back again and will tell friends to go too.”

“We took our children today for their first visit to the zoo. The grounds were in sad condition and the enclosures for the animals were tiny. We sympathized with the fact that this is a non profit rescue organization. However, our encounter with the director and associate director have left us unwilling to ever return. After our visit, we entered the gift shop to buy our kids souvenirs. We were showing them the sounds that the stuffed toys make when the owner rudely informed us we were ruining the toys by using up all the sounds. When we tried to explain that we were showing them to our toddlers to see which interested them so we could buy their favorites she threw a sarcastic comment over her shoulder as she walked away. When I informed the Associate Director we would not be returning and would tell our friends about the treatment we received she told us that if we caused the facility to lose money by negative word of mouth, the deaths of the animals would be on our shoulders and she hoped we could sleep at night.”

“There's a lot to learn here on the UT campus. There's the LBJ museum and a few art galleries. Also interesting is the tower that overlooks the campus. The tower was famous in the 69's when a sniper shot dead almost a dozen students from the top. It closed for decades, but is now reopen to the public and has spectacular views of the city. Don't forget to get your Longhorn t-shirt!”
