Brookside Golf Club & Pro Shop
Mar 16, 2009 by Robbie from Waco

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Solid course layout, low cost.
  • Lack of bunkers.

“I guess its all in the eye of the beholder because my experience at Brookside was very good. Starting with the fact that the greens was good for all you can play all day. I enjoyed everything about my trip around Brookside, GC. Nice mix of holes; 2 very good par, good par, and a very tough par. Water very much in play on 4 holes and the greens were very good, rolled very true. The only thing lacking was bunkers, I think a few could be added here and there to toughen up the course a bit. Overall, a very fun, sporty little nine that I will definitely play again should I find myself in OKC again.”

Hefner Lake & Park
Apr 20, 2008 by Lauren from Longmont, CO

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Great place to get outside and stretch your legs!
  • Not enough people are out there for being such a valuable resource!

“Probably the prettiest place in Oklahoma City, everyone is walking, biking, running, etc. Pretty clean for the most part, we go there to walk, fly kites, just hang out. Very relaxing!”

AT&T Bricktown Ballpark
Nov 21, 2007 by Sherry from Edmond

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Comfortable seating, clean bathrooms, friendly service.
  • The hotdogs don't come close to a Chicago dog.

“I've been to the Ballpark many times. It is a wonderful facility. Well planned, comfortable, easy access, inexpensive, fun! Even in the "cheap seats" there's not a bad seat in the house. The air conditioned "cool room" is great in the summer. The "Club Level" is awesome. One is treated like an owner for less money than taking the family to a movie. I am so glad we have this in OKC. To be honest, I love baseball and would go to almost any park at any time to see any game. Every day is a good day for baseball. The Bricktown Ballpark just makes in even more fun!”

National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum
Sep 24, 2007 by Karen from Ocala, FL

Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7

  • Paintings and sculpture.
  • Movie star nonsense.

“The previous revuers obviously have never been to the museum in Canyon, TX. This one was nice, the paintings and sculpture were excellent, but the rest was a big zero and a waste if our time. I must say though, the landscaping was great - except for the cracked and broken front steps. I learned hundreds of things at the TX museum, but nothing here. We have been in all the lower forty-eight states and always try to take in most museums we run across. Maybe we are just jaded because we have seen the best.”

Eden Salon and Spa
Mar 25, 2007 by Barbara from San Francisco

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Wonderful coffee.
  • Music was a little too soft for me.

“My name is Eden and I thought I would try this place that shared my name. I was only in town for a day, but they were able to see me at a new spa downtown for a massage and pedicure. I had a great time.”

Brookside Golf Club & Pro Shop
Sep 6, 2006 by John from Oklahoma City

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • The day ended quickly.
  • Everything.

“My first impression of Brook side was diminished when I pulled into a gravel parking lot near the railroad tracks. The "clubhouse" if you can call it that looked like a metal shed. The course has no ambience of any kind and has no dress code whatsoever, you could probably tee off shirtless. The course played relatively easy and the course was quite short, it was also only nine holes. The price for the course is outrageous considering everything, if I remember correctly it was still around $20.00. Stay away!!!!”

Frontier City Properties Inc
Aug 12, 2006 by Betty from Carlsbad, NM

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • I liked the rides that were open and the staff.
  • I disliked the high prices and closed rides.

“For a Six Flags park, this one was disappointing. Several rides were closed and/or did not open until late in the afternoon. The staff was friendly and the rides that were open were great! The food and beverage prices are outrageous and no outside food or drink is allowed, but I guess that's to be expected.”

National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum
Jul 6, 2006 by Charlotte Powers from Wytheville, Va.

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • This is the most awesome museum I have ever been in and we want to come back before we are so old we can't travel anymore. We simply loved it.
  • No negative at all.

“This is an awesome place. We hope to come back for a visit sometime. I was wondering if it would be possible to purchase a small replica of the "Trails end" of the white alabaster horse and rider. Maybe even an 8x10 photo. I took pictures while there but they were lost in our travels. I can be reached at. ”

Bricktown Canal
Aug 22, 2005 by Stephanie

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Nice ride, many restaurants. Tour guide gave interesting facts.
  • Too many stops to pick people up. Made the ride a little long and too many people on the water taxi at once.

“Beautiful views and a lovely ride along the canal. Plenty of restaurants and sites to see.”

  • credible in all respects
  • 33 years ago I visited and saw a large map showing all the trails of migration along with a narative and complete chuck wagon display. Bring them back.

“Someone had to tell the world about western US migration, life and our heritage, no one can tell it better than this, keep on keeping on.”

Bricktown Canal
Jun 13, 2005 by Darann from Elkhart, IN

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • The people are friendly and the views are great.
  • The weather. It rained for a while when there.

“My experience at Bricktown and on the canal was very good. I will be doing it again in the future. Anyone who has the chance to take the water taxi and just go for a ride in the canel should do it. The people there are great and friendly. I highly recommend it.”
