“Don't waste your money. Arrival time for guests is 6:30 and the theater production begins at 7pm. You receive name tags and are the stars of the show. There are only 2 actors that interview each star in between meal changes. Make sure to eat before hand if you are hungry as you will not receive a soup until at least 7:30. Salad was not until 8pm and then more waiting occurs for the entry. Entry was not the best - chicken, tomatoes rolled in beef, and rice. If you are expecting to be entertained while eating dinner, don't waste your money.”

“This is a really fun night out if you want to laugh and have lots of great food! I went with my girlfriends and we just had a blast. My good friend even ended guessing who did it and got a free mug as a prize.”

“It must have been a busy weekend because the place was overflowing with trash. Quite smelly. There was a decent spot to take pictures of the riverfront, an overlook that doubles as a parking area. Many shops were closed on Monday so sort of disappointing. We had lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory. We had to wait about a half hour or so to be seated but it was well worth it. The food was great and I was surprised how reasonably priced it was. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with stained glass and antiques all around. I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Parking nearby was five dollars.”

“I have known about the City Museum for nearly ten years now and had heard it was like an indoor playground for kids. What an enormous understatement. We went there today and found it to be an amazing indoor and outdoor playground for adults as well as kids. If you always liked climbing trees, buildings, etc., crawling under and around various places, and just actively exploring new places: you will love the City Museum. I would warn: there are a few tight places, high places, and some dark places that might not be fun for everyone. I wouldn't recommend most of the museum for the true toddler set. We ended up carrying our willing (but not yet able) 20 month old around many of the precarious climbing exhibits/slides/etc. Go with children old enough to climb and run safely with supervision.”

“I went to a public dinner theater with a few friends celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival you are given a name tag and your characters role/secrets. You are invited to interact with other guest there to get more information about the story. The first course was Beer Cheese Soup, I thought it was good although it could have been a little hotter. The actors were very funny and did a lot of audience interaction, so you may want to keep that in mind if you are shy. Second course was May (Caesar) Salad. Entree was Fried chicken with gravy with steak and rice. It was a lot and I probably shouldn't have ate it all but it was very good. There was also Cheese cake for dessert. For the price the food and entertainment was worth the value and I plan to go back.”

“This place beats the grocery stores for price, quality and freshness of produce! Comparison shop! Even my teens likes this place!”

“This is only true place that I have ever been to satisfy the youngest child to the oldest adult. It's open until 11 on weekends and even has a bar on premises. Climbing, sliding, slithering, learning, it's a full day's adventure. I would fly from any country for a visit at the City Museum.”

“This place is great for small children. However, they say fun for all ages, not so. I foolishly took my two nieces ages 14&15. The staff did not want them to do anything; they kept saying it's for small children.”

“This is a fun place to go to do your shopping. Lots of fresh fruit, veggies, meat, seasonable goodies. Vendor has clothes, jewelry, purses. We go every time we visit St. Louis and always have a great time.”

“I thought it was great. Was there in 1982. When I was there they had a museum in the bottom floor underground. You had to take an elevator that sat 4 or 5 people in it would click as it was going up. Like it was going up the stairs. Once at the top it was a wonderful view to look out the windows. I thought it was wonderful. The other bowlers I was with did not like it at all for it seemed to sway little. They went to other side and went back done. I stayed up there for about 25 minutes. I do not know if it's the same today or not. Going back for a convention in 2008.”

“On February 28 I went to Powell symphony hall. I heard and saw many things. The following paragraphs will describe those experiences. Some of the songs I heard were very unique. I heard songs like carnival which expressed many exciting feelings. There was a selection that brought so many thoughts and feelings. There were many different instruments. We were able to hear two instruments that arena commonly heard in the orchestra. They were the harp and the tambourine. The beat also played a big part. Sometimes it got really quiet and you had to strain your ears to hear. Sometimes it got very loud and it felt like it was playing just for you. It got very fast and the violinists were moving their bows really fast. Sometimes it got so slow that you felt like you were going to have a very bad day. I saw many things also. The sights in my opinion were better than the music. The tour guide told us about a ghost who lived in someplace we saw. His Name was George. I think the sights were breath-taking. I think I would want to go there again. It¿s not the best music or sights. There was a lot of gold. The guide said they used all of the U.S.A gold plus more. I personally think that¿s illogical.”

“My daughter-in-law and I took 6, 5, and 3.5 year old girls and we all had a blast though we were only there 2 hours. This wonderful place is only open until 5pm M-The in the summer and we got there at three. Plan to be there more than 2 hours! We can't wait to go back. It helps to have adventurous children! Loved it.”

“This place is a work of genius. I have been there at least 5 times and continue to find new things to look at. My children insist on visiting the museum before we see the relatives.”

City Museum “I had spent 2 days at Six Flags- one day at Grant's Farm with my daughter and granddaughter. We found the City Museum by accident. I will gladly tell you it was the highlight of our vacation. It will be our first stop next year.”
