Magens Bay Beach
Mar 14, 2009 by Magen :) from P-Town

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Beautiful, amazing, spectacular, unlike anything you'll ever see.
  • Absolutely nothing.

“Okay now this place is amazing, my parents had their honeymoon here! I was named after this bay and my brother the island. I went there about two years ago and it is amazing! There are no words to describe it. Once you see it, you completely forget reality! Its a pretty hard place to top.”

Frederick Lutheran Church
Mar 20, 2007 by Michael Richardson from Capitola, CA 95010

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • In our experience, the congregation is a special place.
  • Considering the circumstance, are you kidding.

“My wife, Sharon, and I were married in Frederick Lutheran church, April 14, 1978. We were treated so warmly and graciously, it was an experience we will have more than one reason to remember. The pastor at the time, made the effort to have a group of the congregation on hand to be our witnesses. All this for a couple who traveled over four thousand miles for the ceremony. We have been back once since, and felt the same warmth when we entered. I hope we will be able to return again.”

Paradise Point Tramway
May 4, 2005 by Lynne L . from Austin

Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8

  • Beautiful views
  • I'm afraid of heights.

“The Tramway is brightly decorated (you can't miss it) and it is located just outside the Havensight Mall on the north side. If you come in by cruise ship, you'll be docking at Havensight. The tramway is only a short, few minute walk from the dock so you can check out the local shops in the mall on your way and stop in the Delly Deck for a fabulous meal (fabulously inexpensive too), or catch a local 'taxi bus' to see the island and stop by on your way back to the ship. It's definately a must 'see' during your stay!”

Magens Bay Beach
May 4, 2005 by Lynne L . from Austin

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • beautiful, clean, white sandy beach
  • The first day at Magens Bay, we had choppy seas.

“Get there early for the best spots, but even on busy weekends there is enough beach for everyone, or just stop by the next beach over (Coki Point is the islanders usual weekend party spot). The sand is wonderful and there are plenty of shady parking spaces. Bring plenty of water and don't have too much planned for later that day (salt water will make you sleepy).”
