Starlight Six Drive In Theatre
Dec 14, 2007 by Pam from Atlanta

Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8

  • Very economical for the entire family.
  • Bathrooms need to be remodeled.

“The starlight has been around since I was a little girl. I sincerely hope they do not give in to the developers and tear it down. This is a great place to snuggle with your honey and also economical for the entire family. Where else can you see two good movies for this cheap price? I give it an eight only because the bathrooms need to be remodeled a bit, but we can deal with them. Stand and squat! (loll) I also agree with the person that says they should devote one screen totally to g and pg rated movies. Let's keep the starlight open.”

Starlight Six Drive In Theatre
Nov 2, 2007 by Ellen from Atlanta

Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7

  • I love it because I am able to snuggle up with my husband or enjoy family time without confinement.
  • The only negative thing I have is that sometimes the people or not so courteous when it comes to the parking.

“I think it is great. I love it. The rate I would give it is a 9 and only because I have to leave the comfort of my car with my wonderful husband to use the ladies room. Overall I think it is great and I hope the developers are not allowed to purchase the property to add more condos. They need to leave the last one we have in Georgia up for the people. So I hope the owners of the drive in does not give in to the developers and sell it.”

Starlight Six Drive In Theatre
Feb 16, 2007 by Latrice from Riverdlae

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • It¿s the drive inn!
  • Gas prices.

“The drive inn is the best movie theater ever! You don't have to worry about peoples phones ringing, you can eat what ever you want, and drink whatever you want and smoke a cig when you need to. But the rest rooms are out side, which is bad in the winter. But everything else is great. At the movies you have to pay 10.00 bucks to see the movie and hear peoples crying babies, cells ringing, people walking in late, and teenagers. At the drive inn, you can just roll your window up. The drive inn rocks!”

Buckhead
Oct 28, 2006 by mark from coomera qld australia

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Good people, great bars.
  • Need later shutting times.

“Visited bulkhead in may 93 during a visit to the states with a mate of mine. Met some friends in Jamaica who lived in Atlanta and went to unit there. Invited us to stay with them when we traveled through Atlanta and took us out on the town. Although it was a long time ago, I still remember visiting Bulkhead as a highlight of my travels. We visited numerous bars and clubs and had a great time. Friendly people, beautiful women, everyone had a huge night, met allot of nice Americans. Recommend the spot to anyone; I just hope it hasn't changed too much over the years. Go the braves!”

Starlight Six Drive In Theatre
Sep 3, 2006 by A.K. from Marietta

Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7

  • Fun environment.
  • Movies not as family friendly as I would like.

“I love drive-ins and spent my weekends as a child at Van Buran drive-in in Riverside CA. So when a job forced our family to relocate to GA I really missed the drive-in. Drive-ins are not for everyone. They are not fancy or glittery they are for families who love to watch movies but would rather let their kids run around in there PJs and don't want to stress about the baby crying or people who want to watch a movie "alone" but still enjoy the big screen. I wish they would offer more family friendly movies as most are R rated so I can rarely take my kids where Van Buran always had one "family" screen that was G-PG when I was a kid and they only had 3 screens so with 6 screens starlight could easily have one for families.”

Georgia Aquarium, Inc.
Jun 18, 2006 by John from Los Angeles

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Whale Sharks, Beluga Whales, Sea Lions, Penguins.
  • Parking is $10, take MARTA.

“WOW! The tunnel that goes underneath the Whale Sharks is an experience everyone must have. The huge window is like the size of an IMAX screen with so many fish swimming in front of it I couldn't believe it. My wife loved the beluga whales, she says its like watching an aquatic ballet. We went on a week-day morning, they opened at 8 AM and so we got there right after 8 and we had no problems with crowds. I'm told week-ends are busy so we opted for a week-day. I would recommend it to anyone.”

Georgia Aquarium, Inc.
Dec 31, 2005 by Milt from Atlanta

Overall Rating: 2 User Rating Score: 2

  • Pretty displays.
  • Costly, poor uncaring service.

“While the Georgia Aquarium is pretty and interesting, the crowds, price gouging, and hidden faults make the trip much more stressful than it could be. For example, there are additional costs for events in the aquarium such as the fish movie, and the cost of food is extravagant. The annual pass program is a real fault. The cost of an annual pass is equal to three visits $60, which sounds like a great deal. But in actuality an annual pass members gets treated like a second class citizen, with only limited time slots for entry. If you pay full price, additional times would be available. Evidently, once you pay they really do not want you to use your annual passes. If you plan on going multiple times in one vacation, or if you are bringing friends, guests, or family without annual passes there can be problems. You need to make sure the same times and dates are open for annual pass and paying admission time slots. If not, you might end up like us with half of the family being allowed in at 4:00, the rest only being offered admission at 7:00 pm, just before closing. In the end, all they offered us was a tiresome electronic refund process for the half of the tickets we purchased. Obviously it took a lot of the fun out of the trip.”

Coca-Cola
Nov 4, 2005 by Mary from Columbus, GA

Overall Rating: 4 User Rating Score: 4

  • Liked the location as we got to see more of Atlanta underground area.
  • Price of tour and amount of people in the building making it hard to see things.

“I was looking forward to this world of Coca Cola experience. I was disappointed with the $9.00 entrance fee because in Las Vegas their Coke museum does not charge a fee to enter. When we were there on a Sunday it was packed with teenagers in large groups and it was hard to even see the exhibits. I did not get to see or taste some of the products because of the large groups that were there. The only thing we did like was the bottom level where you can buy coke memorabilia and of course everything there was rather pricey also. Overall, would not recommend to visit as there are other attractions in Atlanta to spend your time seeing.”

  • I enjoyed the Olympic display and the immigrant display.
  • So much to see, so little time.

“As an educator, I think all educational facilities should make the National Museum of Patriotism a mandatory part of educational field trips. I really enjoyed the tour and the extensive information.”

National Museum Of Patriotism
Mar 19, 2005 by Marian W . from Dahlonega, GA

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • The 9/11 memorial is profoundly moving and reverent.

“My husband & I were honored to attend the preview the weekend before the official July 4, 2004 opening - and we were immediately impressed. The exhibits are well-designed & informative. We recently visisted again with our 14 year old granddaughter and 12 year old grandson. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience - and learned some important history painlessly. Plan to spend at least two hours to appreciate everything fully. The Hall of Patriots recognizes not just military heroes, but civilians including Bill Cosby and Fred Rogers. If you're visiting Atlanta for business or pleasure, make time to see the Museum of Patriotism. You will appreciate what it means to be an American citizen.”

It was pleasantly suprising to have so many different displays with so much history! It really made you feel like you were back in time, AND a part of today's movement for freedom! I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in patriotism/history. Most of the exhibits were very moving and touching! Thank you for creating this special place for us to go!!!”
