Exposures International Gallery of Fine Art
Dec 13, 2008 by Jane from Nashua, NH

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • The art was really beautiful.
  • It was too cold outside to really enjoy the sculpture garden.

“It was awesome, great art was there. I loved it! Do not miss it because there are tons of different artists, I think like over 100 they said. Really good music got me pumped up. He does really great portraits of Native Americans. Very classy, definitely go.”

Exposures International Gallery of Fine Art
Dec 9, 2008 by Mal from Lan

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Lots of art indoors and out, all styles and media, with something for everyone.
  • So much art that I had to go back to see it all!

“Exposures International is a beautiful gallery located on Gallery Row in Sedona, Arizona. The gallery is the largest in the Southwest and features a collection of contemporary (living) artists from locally and around the world. Exposures has it all: sculpture, painting, kinetic art, jewelry, and photography, etc. The knowledge and helpful attitude of the staff was truly impressive, they told me everything I could want to know about Dino Rosin (my favorite glass artist). My parents love Frogman, and they buy one of his sculptures whenever they visit. Kids are welcome and the ones I see in the gallery usually spend their time playing with the little black dog who belongs to the owners - he's super friendly and their parents seem to enjoy the distraction! This is my favorite gallery. I visit often and I recommend it to all of my friends. If you can only see one gallery during your visit to Sedona, go to Exposures International!”

Exposures International Gallery of Fine Art

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Really beautiful pieces!
  • I couldn't stay longer!

“I absolutely love this gallery. It was completely filled with art from the floor to ceiling. There was something for everyone here, not just Southwestern art. Sometimes you go into a gallery and it is either kind of hokey, or it is snobby. Not so with exposures. It was the perfect balance of friendliness and artiness. There was great music playing; the atmosphere was exciting and energized. I found it difficult to narrow down my favorites because there was just so much different stuff! Paintings, sculpture, fountains, jewelry. I really loved Gene & Rebecca Tobey's work, Yuroz, the Frasca/Halliday redwood pieces were just awesome. I think this is a must-see for anyone visiting Sedona.”

Sedona Super Vue Theater
Apr 8, 2008 by Tammy from Gig Harbor

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Beautiful Views!
  • Danger of falling.

“Have climbed 2 sides of Bell Rock. Everything is provided on Bell Rock! My first climb was unintentional. We had just stopped to take pictures and before you know it we were all the way up the rock with no water. We got part way up and my companion was wishing that he had some sun glasses. We rounded a corner and there they were: sunglasses lying on a ledge. We continued some more trying to figure out how to get further up, when around a corner came a native American man who offered to guide us further up the rock. We got almost to the top and discovered that we were thirsty. At that point, another party of climbers rounded the corner and offered us some water. When I got to the top, I looked and felt 10 years younger! Everything is provided on Bell Rock!.”

Pink Jeep Tours
Nov 23, 2007 by Joe from Baton Rouge

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Great River/guide, personable, knowledgeable.
  • The pitch to attend sales presentation.

“Good experience, wish we'd had time to do more than one trail. Only negative: when purchasing ticket, low key sales pitch for a free ride if you attend a (high pressure!) Sales presentation for a local time share company. Our advice: pay the price and avoid the presentation. Other than that, a good, fun time, well worth the price. Go and enjoy.”

Bear Cloud Gallery
Jun 5, 2007 by Mindi from Salt Lake City

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Artwork is all truly amazing and location is incredible as well.
  • None.

“This is one of the most incredible galleries I have ever been to. It was a matter of decided what to purchase instead of whether to purchase or not. Bear cloud's paintings are amazing. When you change the lighting, you can see very different things in the painting. It's absolutely amazing. There are also other artists that sell their art at this gallery. They are all of high quality as well. Definitely worth the trip. We are planning another trip to Sedona just to return to this gallery again...”

Bell Rock
Oct 28, 2006 by Vilas from Phoenix

Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7

  • Great climb and great views from mid-top.
  • For new comers need to have directions on how to reach the top.

“Good place to visit. I love it. You don't have too many trails to cover, just couple of them. The trail is ok; however climbing up the hill is exciting. Going up is not so difficult, however while coming down (only at few places) some people might have to sit on their bums (still not so risky). Unfortunately I couldn't go to top as from the n-west (near to 89a) end after reaching certain point you can't climb the ~8ft wall. Not sure if there is way from other end (and if you come from other end don't think to climb down from opposite end as the 8 ft wall can be climbed down only if someone is there to give you support from below. Also sometimes the directions are not clear at the mid and upper portion of the hill (they have rocks piled up for directions at the bottom). If you climb from new (near to 89a) you have to just go straight up (unless it¿s difficult, in which case try some other way). Also I couldn't experience to so called vortex energy: Anyways the views from top are quiet beautiful. ”

Chapel of the Holy Cross
Apr 10, 2006 by Alexander from Sands

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • The ambiance and vibes of this place.
  • Crowds and the mansion being built beneath the chapel (inappropriate).

“A beautiful green-tinted stained glass behind the altar, above which hangs an intriguing and creative, a bit abstract even, face bust of Jesus. Looking through the windows at the front of this gorgeous chapel you feast your eyes on a panoramic view of the red rocks! The smell of candles lit, the peaceful quiet that enshrouds the inside of this wonderful place is lovely. You could sit there for hours, be you a spiritual person or not-Christian or not. The design of this chapel was so ahead of its time, a 90 foot cross making up the front of the chapel, jutting out of 2 red rocks almost 100 feet above the ground. The hike up is well worth it! The views outside of the chapel are not to be described, but seen. If you have an opportunity to visit Sedona, lucky you, if you do then make sure you visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross! You will love it!”
