Palace Theatre
May 22, 2008 by denise from comanche ok

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • The atmosphere of the old theater encourages you to relax and enjoy the movies.
  • The second screen is not as comfortable for viewing enjoyment.

“The Palace is a great place. Memories from the past may cloud my view, but there's nothing like going into a large theater and watching great movies. The only drawback is the Palace II screen. It's quite small and not nearly as comfortable.”

  • Great place to get outside and stretch your legs!
  • Not enough people are out there for being such a valuable resource!

“Probably the prettiest place in Oklahoma City, everyone is walking, biking, running, etc. Pretty clean for the most part, we go there to walk, fly kites, just hang out. Very relaxing!”

J M Davis Memorial Commission
Apr 14, 2008 by B from Rogers AR

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Plenty of parking, friendly staff & lots to see!
  • So much to see almost made it overwhelming - a map of displays would have been helpful so we could focus on particular guns.

“This was one of the most impressive museums I've ever seen. The collection was overwhelming, covering so many time periods in gun history. Also enjoyed the other exhibits of knives, western gear, steins, & loved the John Wayne collection. The staff was very friendly and informative.”

Har-Ber Village Museum Inc
Feb 9, 2008 by Richard&Karen Lee from Mission Viejo, CA

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Civil War items, dishes, musical instruments, furniture, dolls and more.
  • Not enough day light!

“We happened upon Har-Ber Village while staying at the World Mark Resort at Grand Lake. It is like no other place we had seen. 100 building filled with 19th century treasure. Any collectable you may thing of will be there in large numbers. Well worth the $2 or $3.00 admission! Allow 3-4 hours min.”

AT&T Bricktown Ballpark
Nov 21, 2007 by Sherry from Edmond

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Comfortable seating, clean bathrooms, friendly service.
  • The hotdogs don't come close to a Chicago dog.

“I've been to the Ballpark many times. It is a wonderful facility. Well planned, comfortable, easy access, inexpensive, fun! Even in the "cheap seats" there's not a bad seat in the house. The air conditioned "cool room" is great in the summer. The "Club Level" is awesome. One is treated like an owner for less money than taking the family to a movie. I am so glad we have this in OKC. To be honest, I love baseball and would go to almost any park at any time to see any game. Every day is a good day for baseball. The Bricktown Ballpark just makes in even more fun!”

Oklahoma Aquarium
Nov 11, 2007 by Sarah from Tulsa, OK

Overall Rating: 3 User Rating Score: 3

  • The sea creatures really are quite beautiful.
  • Way too expensive for the 45 min it takes to walk through, very crowded and noisy.

“I went to the aquarium hoping for some peaceful creature-watching and what I got was a crowded, pushing, screaming, "lets just get out of here" experience. Also $13 for 30 min worth of walking is not a good value compared to all the wonderful zoos in the region.”

National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum
Sep 24, 2007 by Karen from Ocala, FL

Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7

  • Paintings and sculpture.
  • Movie star nonsense.

“The previous revuers obviously have never been to the museum in Canyon, TX. This one was nice, the paintings and sculpture were excellent, but the rest was a big zero and a waste if our time. I must say though, the landscaping was great - except for the cracked and broken front steps. I learned hundreds of things at the TX museum, but nothing here. We have been in all the lower forty-eight states and always try to take in most museums we run across. Maybe we are just jaded because we have seen the best.”

Oklahoma Aquarium
Mar 29, 2007 by Dave from Tulsa

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • Very clean atmosphere.
  • Too costly for what you are seeing.

“The only reason I am giving this attraction a 5 is because it is a neat place to go to view all the waterborne wildlife in the aquarium. However, the price does not reflect the amount of enjoyment that can be perceived I feel.”

Eden Salon and Spa
Mar 25, 2007 by Barbara from San Francisco

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Wonderful coffee.
  • Music was a little too soft for me.

“My name is Eden and I thought I would try this place that shared my name. I was only in town for a day, but they were able to see me at a new spa downtown for a massage and pedicure. I had a great time.”

Boiling Springs Golf Course Inc
Mar 15, 2007 by JOHN from Florida

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Laid out well with the natural surroundings, up and down w/lots of trees.
  • No beer cart, stock up in the pro shop.

“I get to Oklahoma once a year for a week or so and I play this course whenever I can. The improvements in the greens and overall course condition has been dramatic in the past few years. Play from the tips for a spectacular view and challenging round! ”

Tulsa Expo Center
Feb 19, 2007 by Nancy from Mannford

Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8

  • Good security and clean restrooms.
  • High prices on food and drinks.

“Expo Center is a great place for a variety of events . Security is great and makes it a fun safe place to go. You do need to eat before you come if you plan to be there awhile as prices are extreme. If you have a average size family or larger it will cost a small fortune to eat or get anything to drink there. Other than that it is a great family place for all events.”

Orpheum Theatre
Sep 6, 2006 by Amy from Houston, tx

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • I can watch a movie!
  • Well, the bathrooms are just awful! It has two theatres and if you sit on the bottom one you hear the one on the top floor playing at the same time.

Brookside Golf Club & Pro Shop
Sep 6, 2006 by John from Oklahoma City

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • The day ended quickly.
  • Everything.

“My first impression of Brook side was diminished when I pulled into a gravel parking lot near the railroad tracks. The "clubhouse" if you can call it that looked like a metal shed. The course has no ambience of any kind and has no dress code whatsoever, you could probably tee off shirtless. The course played relatively easy and the course was quite short, it was also only nine holes. The price for the course is outrageous considering everything, if I remember correctly it was still around $20.00. Stay away!!!!”

Frontier City Properties Inc
Aug 12, 2006 by Betty from Carlsbad, NM

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • I liked the rides that were open and the staff.
  • I disliked the high prices and closed rides.

“For a Six Flags park, this one was disappointing. Several rides were closed and/or did not open until late in the afternoon. The staff was friendly and the rides that were open were great! The food and beverage prices are outrageous and no outside food or drink is allowed, but I guess that's to be expected.”

National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum
Jul 6, 2006 by Charlotte Powers from Wytheville, Va.

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • This is the most awesome museum I have ever been in and we want to come back before we are so old we can't travel anymore. We simply loved it.
  • No negative at all.

“This is an awesome place. We hope to come back for a visit sometime. I was wondering if it would be possible to purchase a small replica of the "Trails end" of the white alabaster horse and rider. Maybe even an 8x10 photo. I took pictures while there but they were lost in our travels. I can be reached at. ”

River Parks
May 22, 2006 by Taylor from Tulsa

Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8

  • Unique park system that goes right through central Tulsa.
  • People who can't share the trial -- bikers and walkers.

“This is a great place -- one of the places that some people from Tulsa cherish and others will regret losing if its ever developed further or somehow otherwise ceases to exist. Sure, there isn't water south of the Pedestrian Bridge a lot of days, and yes, it gets very hot and smelly. But you have to know where to go! If you stay north of the Pedestrian Bridge, there is the Zink Lake, which is used by several rowing crews. The trial itself is actually linked with a trial that stretches to downtown Tulsa, Sand Springs, and all the way to the Jenks River Walk. There is a restaurant, River's Edge, just north of the 21st Street Bridge. It's sort of a bar with live music and nachos, but very popular nonetheless. There are playgrounds throughout the park system, with the best likely on the west side of the river, south of the 21st street bridge -- there's an old west themed playground and a skateboard park. Be careful -- if you want to go to Jenks, the west tails aren't connected the whole way! The trial abruptly ends near I-44. To go south, you must stay on the east side of the river. If you go west, you'll have to go all the way back around to the pedestrian bridge, which isn't fun on a hot day. The 71st street bridge can get you to Turkey Mountain, which is, among other things, a great mountain biking trail. Near 91st or so, the bridges get you to the Jenks RiverWalk.”

Har-Ber Village Museum Inc
May 19, 2006 by Julia from Dallas

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • The variety of exhibits, displays, historical buildings, and antiques is incredible.
  • A little off the beaten path, but well marked if you pay attention.

“Like stepping back in time, Har Ber Village is a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of our busy lifestyles. Cool breezes from Grand Lake, ancient shade trees, and lovely gardens make this leisurely walking tour through America's past a most pleasant experience. Lots to look at, something for every age. If you enjoy history, antique browsing, and being out doors, you'll love Har Ber Village. Plan to spend a few hours at least, wear comfy shoes, grab a light jacket in spring or fall (just in case), pack a picnic or grab a bite to eat in nearby Grove. At Har Ber Village be prepared to "remember when....".”

South Mustang Lp
Apr 7, 2006 by Cody from Mustang

Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7

  • I love the environment and the easy practice course.

“I loved the small par 3 golf course of Pebble Creek. It is in my hometown and I am looking forward to a job there this summer. I think this course is great practice and is a fairly easy course. I will keep going there and keep looking for a job opening for the following summers. I encourage others to try this golf course and tell your friends to go there. It is a fun and relaxing golf course to have a round of golf with friends and then when finished, go to the Harry's restaurant on the south side of the golf course. I enjoyed this golf course and will continue going there.”

River Parks
Mar 21, 2006 by Chris from Tulsa

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • Plenty of parking.
  • Crime.

“It's just a several mile long strip of dirt with a little asphalt and a little grass, running alongside a river without enough water to drown in. At night, better jog with a friend. ”

Tulsa International Airport
Mar 21, 2006 by Chris from Tulsa

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • The best place in Tulsa to land a 757.
  • The only place in Tulsa to land a 757.

“No restaurants, or even a news stand where you can get a candy bar, are open after the last plane takes off, so if your plane lands here after the sun goes down, you're out of luck.”

  • Nice ride, many restaurants. Tour guide gave interesting facts.
  • Too many stops to pick people up. Made the ride a little long and too many people on the water taxi at once.

  • 33 years ago I visited and saw a large map showing all the trails of migration along with a narative and complete chuck wagon display. Bring them back.

  • The weather. It rained for a while when there.

“My experience at Bricktown and on the canal was very good. I will be doing it again in the future. Anyone who has the chance to take the water taxi and just go for a ride in the canel should do it. The people there are great and friendly. I highly recommend it.”

Bell's Amusement Park
May 31, 2005 by Megan

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • I love the rides and good atmosphere!
  • CLEANLINESS!!!

“I like the park. I'm in my 'teens', so its fun and affordable all at the same time. I don't really like the trash near the bathrooms in the back of the park, or the trash near the children's rides. The cleanliness could be improved, but its a great family environment.”
