Sunnys Campground
Oct 5, 2009 by geri from bowlinggreen

Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8

  • Staff friendly, helpful. Meet a lot of very nice people, relaxing. Golf is close by.
  • Swimming, 8pm golf carts.

“Would love to see a swimming pool put in. Pond is old and to dirty. Golf carts should be allowed out until dark. I like animals but there are far to many dogs which bark and some run free. Half the games in the game room do not work and the policy of no refund for broken games is not fair. For anyone wanting to go camping to check Sunny's out over all I think they would have a good time and would come back.”

Capri Bowling Lanes Inc
Oct 2, 2009 by Brian from Centerville

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Clean, bright, and friendly. Great Pizza and Wings.
  • Nothing that I can complain about.

“Looks like it just got renovated. It was clean, bright, colorful, and staff was friendly. They had the biggest score screens I had ever seen at a bowling center and they had couches for the bowlers to sit on. I went on Saturday afternoon and there were a few birthday parties and a bunch of families their. The guy at the counter was smart enough to put all the kids at one end the building and the adults without kids at the other. After bowling, we went into the lounge for hot wings and drinks. Their prices were inexpensive and I was surprised to see 6 big TV's with huge 120' movie screen with football on. A+.”

Chippewa Golf Club
Sep 20, 2009 by Greg from Seville, OH

Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8

  • Great shape and very fast greens. Practice on some linoleum.
  • Extremely busy on the weekends.

“Played this course for the first time 9/19/09. absolutely loved it. Some of the truest and quickest greens I've ever been on. Recently played Firestone north course and Chippewa has better greens. Tees, fairways, and greens are in excellent shape. A few spots in the rough were patchy, but for a public track that gets a ton of play, my hat goes off to the head greens keeper. It is now going to be a regular in my rotation of courses. The front and back are completely different. Do your scoring on the front because there are a few holes on the back where you can have a blow up. Overall well worth the trip to play this beautiful course.”

Cinemark Miami Valley Cinema 6
Jun 4, 2009 by Toni from New Knoxville

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • I give this theater 10 (yes ten) stars.
  • There was nothing negative about this theater! Nothing!

“I began going to movie theaters around 1954, and Piqua Cine mark is the best theater I have ever been in. It is clean, the seats are ultra comfortable, the bathrooms are spectacular (no waiting in lines anymore, ladies), and the view from the seats is obstruction free. I was very, happy to be there and I cannot wait to go back. Thank you to whoever decided to build such a theater, and I was believing that it will be maintained according to its present standard of excellence.”

Village Green Golf Club
Apr 2, 2009 by Anthony from Monroe

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Clean and the place is well taken care of all year long.
  • Some places out there hold water when it rains hard.

“It is the best golf club around the area. There are many leagues there and the set up is very nice. There are many nice scenes around like the trees and rivers and well kept green grass. Compared to the other places that I have gone to around here, they are desert like. Their grass is not taken care of and the greens always brown and die half way through the season. Don't get me wrong, this is little old northeast Ohio, so this isn't a billion dollar place, but it is really nice. The manager really knows how to keep the place running neat and clean. The head growns keeper does GREAT work and so does all of his workers.”

Sunnys Campground
Apr 1, 2009 by Caroline from Ohio

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • Back row lots are big.
  • With no water or sewer.

“Been there before for 4 years. Started out Great! Last 2 years it's been going down hill! Swimming hole is nasty, golf carts only 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. No more activities, except for bingo on Sundays and bands on Saturdays. Now last year more than 1/2 the campground were told no more water or sewer will be at sites. So they decide to put in water every other site and were going to put up tanks of water at each section. Now it is April 1,2009 and nothing has been done to take care of the water and sewer problem. Not looking good for the 2009 season!”

Stan Hywet Hall And Gardens, Inc
Mar 24, 2009 by Jane from Charleston WV

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • It's a marvelous, gigantic antique!
  • I didn't have time to see the greenhouse and gardens that day.

“Stan Hywet is unforgettable. Everything about the Mansion is in grand scale and simply gorgeous, like a castle, actually. There's a grand hall, with hunting trophies on the walls, above a gigantic fireplace. Homes aren't made the same way now, for various reasons. The volunteers who work there tend to get hooked on the place, because the property just has that kind of magnetic charm. They keep going back again and again, until they decide to volunteer. I got that from one of the volunteers that day. I'd keep going back, but live too far away.”

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
Mar 11, 2009 by barbara from philadelphia

Overall Rating: 2 User Rating Score: 2

  • It is a necessary evil.
  • No moving sidewalks, no place to have a decent lunch.

“The tables were dirty, the tableware was plastic and the food was far below acceptable. The prices of the sandwiches were comparable to much better restaurants but quality was so poor, we could not eat the food. It is totally incomprehensible that anyone would consider this par for the course. You have a captive audience, why not attract one or two of the big franchise restaurants that have reliable, good food and make it pleasant for everyone. I am so angry with the fact that I had to pay for the lunch. Just who is in charge of monitoring the quality of the airport shops. This is a real disgrace.”

Cedar Point Park
Jul 28, 2008 by Gene from Cleveland, Ohio

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • Good looking Menu.
  • Way too expensive for what you get and Horrible service!

“Hands down one of the worst deals near the lakes! Was greatly looking forward to their touted fresh raw oysters on the half shell only to find out after placing my order for 2 dozen that they were out. Did anyone there even care to accommodate the need for weekend traffic and customers looking forward to what they claim to have on the menu? 1. Then after re-reading the menu I decided to have their on Special shrimp cocktail. I had with their wedge salad. I ended up placing the shrimp on my salad plate making the whole first dish a whopping shrimp salad that was the size of a small side salad at any other decent restaurant. Still not good enough for, 2 but none the less discontenting on price. Now the meal. We waited for over 35 minutes before finally having the waitress inform us it will be another 5 minutes and that since my partner ordered the Seafood St. Jacques its always a longer wait. Thanks for telling us that when we made the order and even more so why was not that the case last time my partner ordered it when they were there sounds pretty fishy to me. In process 5 more minutes goes by and still no food. Now the table next to us had arrived approx. 10 to 12 minutes after we did was seated and ordered and had been done with their first course dishes when all of a sudden their main dishes arrive. piping hot , on time and would not you know it me and my partner were still waiting for ours when we noticed that it appeared that our neighboring table had ordered the one of the same dished we did. My dish was a on special. Arrived cold as ice! I had to finish my steak cold with not even an opportunity to send it back to be warmed even it did take another extended period of time to finally get to eat. The steak was by far poor quality for a filet on top of it!”

Sunnys Campground

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • They have lots of people there.
  • Not clean bathrooms, pool is just not something you want to be in, the owners have not been able to control the campground for years.

“I have been there for 12 years and there have been no improvements but prices go up every year. The campground has gotten too big for the owners. They sit up front most of the time enjoying seeing the cars come by while their eyes go cha-ching. They like seeing the money but they don't want to do the work. They don't have control of the campground anymore. There is no activities their. The people that camp there, run most of their activities. The only thing they have is a band every Saturday night and may be bingo. The best thing about sunny's is that there's a lot of people there.”

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • I liked the way the staff is so friendly to everyone.
  • I have nothing negative to say about the center.

“I now live in San Antonio (Lackland AFB) and visited family in Ohio over this past Holiday Season. I was able to participate in the Bowling Center's annual New Year's Eve Party. They have made some very impressive improvements to the center since I frequented it when I was younger. I grew up in this center, meaning I was there every Saturday as a junior bowler. I then got a job there for a couple of years, as well as staying on as a bowler (as an adult bowler). The staff has always been so nice and courteous to everyone I see in there. I would recommend going to this bowling center as much as possible because there is so much fun to be had by everyone!”

Belmont Community Hospital
Mar 13, 2008 by arol from DIllonvale

Overall Rating: 2 User Rating Score: 2

  • Close to home, aides were friendly.
  • Gloomy, depressing impersonal.

“I stayed here in the Rehab part of the hospital after back surgery. I had physical therapy that was a joke. They came and got me and then 3 other patients. During this round up portion I sat in a wheel chair in the PT room, waiting. Then when the other 3 patients arrived, they would work with us as a group in leg lifts, ankle circles, etc, while they took one individual at a time for one on one therapy of walking, lying on your back and lifting your leg. They did this to all four of us, so that the hour of PT was actually of all 4 of us with about 40 minutes of it a group and 15-20 minutes of one on one. Most of their patients were elderly, I was 56. I was not allowed out of bed unless I called an aide, they said I would be restrained if I attempted to go to the bathroom without calling; this included using the bed side potty chair. There was tan wall, grey flooring, no art work, and no colors. The rooms were crowded and shared as were the bathrooms between rooms. You had to take your shower and be ready for bed by 8 PM so the aides could have time to get all the end of shift work done. The food was heavy like they were feeding lumber jacks; Salad and fresh fruits were horrible or nonexistent. I was so happy to be discharged. The 7AM rise and shine had the aides waking everyone out of a sound sleep, and then taking their vitals. Two mornings they had to redo blood pressure because everyones was so high, they had startled all of us awake and rushed the process so the doctor could make his rounds early and get to his office. I said I thought I had a urinary tract infection and it took until the next day for the doctor to be told and the order written and the sample taken. It was positive.”

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • It was well colorful and well organized.
  • Not as interspersing as you would think.

“The Rock -n- Roll Hall of Fame was okay. You would think it would be interesting. I mean don't get me wrong it isn't a total bore. The Rock -n- Roll Hall of Fame was well organized and had very interesting artifacts. The gift shop is kind of a waste of money. You can't take pictures in the exhibits. If you aren't very interested in Rock -n- Roll then I would not recommend this place in Cleveland to you. But if you love Rock-n- Roll this is the place to be if you what to learn more about the Rock -n- Roll history.”

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • The way the serving ladies dress, even though some aren't much older than me, remind me of Sunday at Granny's.
  • Nothing to dislike.

“If you get a chance to make a reservation for tea, Christmas or Spring, they are both terrific. Take your daughter, mother, sister, best friend. I even take my teenage son; he loves it as much as the girls. Get there early to take in all the Delhi history on display inside, walk around, see bricks in the walk purchased by family, neighbors (they also make nice gifts), in the spring plan to spend time in the greenhouse before or after.”

  • The kids enjoyed all of the other events.

“I booked a birthday party for my two sons. At the time of booking we were told about the package that we had chosen (unlimited events for 4 hours) and the only event that was setup with time slots was laser tag. When we arrived for the party, there was another event listed with a time slot! We had two time slots for laser tag and the other event was only given one time slot (1 hour). Although I was upset that this particular event was now not unlimited, I accepted it until some of the children in my group started being rejected after they had gone through the line once. They should have at least been able to go an "unlimited" amount within that one hour timeframe. When I went to inquire, I was surprised to see that there were other children in line with different time slots on their tickets. These children were in front of my group! I went to the manager who then went to ask the workers about my observation and he basically called me a liar because his workers lied and said that they were not rejecting any kids from my party. Then he went on to say that they all got to go on this event ONCE!”

“The Norman Rockwell exhibit was fantastic. The facility and staff are wonderful, and the coffee shop was a pleasure. The art housed in the Akron Museum itself should be placed on the street with the trash and "Lets Start Over" should be the theme for 2008. Many talented local artists live in the Akron/Canton area; try starting there if your budget is that tight. Sorry but someone had to have the guts to say it.”
