Summit Academy
Jan 2, 2009 by Stephen from Chicago

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • It's built like it is: new, sturdy, ready to take the hits.
  • Not much for tourists looking for Eiffel Tower things in Camus Prairie.

“This is one of those schools that spring out of the US country spirit: we want a school, we build it. Only possible in the USA. The locals should support such a show of freedom against the odds.”

Lucky Peak State Park
Aug 29, 2008 by Brooke

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • The scenery, crystal clear water, clean beach.
  • Too expensive to rent watercraft.

“Hotel is a serene place to relax and have fun with the family. The water is crystal clear, and the views from the water are amazing to look up and around to. But be warned-unless you are loaded with $ like a rock star, do not even attempt to rent any watercraft up the road. The rates/hour for a jet ski are reasonable, but you have to put $500 down in case of damage. So before you make the scenic but long journey to rent watercraft, you best have one of your own or be ready to empty your piggy bank.”

Drive In Motor Vu
Aug 25, 2007 by Glsor from Idaho Falls

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • Nothing positive to say.
  • Extremely rude owner.

“I have to agree with the previous review. The owner of our local drive inns is not at all people friendly let alone friendly to any of her paying customers. My family really enjoys going to the drive in but we always dread going to the one she happens to be working at. The first time we came in contact with her she was dressed like a street hooker and we were ashamed for our young children to even have to see her. Then when we had to rent a stereo to listen to it and had to return them several times due to them not working we finally gave up and sat by other people. She talks rude to her employees and she is always frantically running around trying to make sure no vans, SUVs or bigger cars are parked in the front 4 rows. I mean come on. Those of us that leave early to get the good seats deserve to get them. I use to drive a small car and I managed to find somewhere to part so that I could see around the larger cars. We are adults and can fend for ourselves. I too will never take a penny out of my pocket knowing that it will go into hers. Rude. To bad she owns them both. Idaho Falls is really missing out.”

Drive In Motor Vu
Jul 11, 2007 by JEN from IDAHO FALLS

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • None.
  • All.

“You never know if you're going to be able to hear without moving your vehicle around all night to find good reception but I would have dealt with that had we not met the "owner" who was the most ignorant women I have ever met! She must not want to be in business long! Everyone knows everyone in this town and word travels fast! Even if the movies were always great and we never had a problem I or any of my friends and family would put any more money in this women's pocket! Go back to Utah!”

Hulls Gulch Nature Trail
Jun 1, 2007 by Isabrl from Boise

Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8

  • I love the trails. All of the trails!
  • Nothing, except people who do not clean up after their dogs.

“Hull's Gulch has shown damage from heavy use this winter(06-07)because of random rain, which made trails muddy at unexpected times, and some "re-designers", who did not understand gravity and water flow. However, the repairs and new signs are a great help in training new users. I would like to see some signs regarding water hemlock (deadly poison) and poison ivy (very inconvenient!) growths. I am not suggesting herbicides, but only warning signs, which will help educate people in identifying these plants elsewhere. Overall, the trails are getting plenty of use, which translates to more voices for open space! ”

Summit Academy
Apr 14, 2007 by N/A from N/A

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • The school is full of good, faith-filled students.
  • The facility is clean and tidy but very conservatively built.

“Summit academy is one of the better schools in the area. It is still small and grounded and has very good potential if the money will be provided.”

Fort Running Bear Recreational Vehicle Park
Aug 17, 2006 by Colby from San Diego

Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8

  • Friendly, beautiful, relaxing, clean.
  • A bit far from a market/store.

“I felt this was one of the most beautiful parks we stayed on our travels throughout the pacific northwest. It is a bit remote, but you are in Idaho after all. The staff was extremely friendly and the bathrooms were clean. I would definitely suggest this campground to anyone, next time, I might opt for one of their cabins!”

Lucky Peak State Park
Aug 15, 2006 by Tina from Meridian

Overall Rating: 6 User Rating Score: 6

  • Yea for Idaho.
  • Lucky Peak was a poor choice to represent Idaho.

“Lucky Peak is a lot of fun however, don't go to the "sandy point" because although it has a large fountain and a sandy beach it is known for having large breakouts of swimmers itch and could be called a community pee pond. Mostly small children go there. After last years tragic deaths of an entire herd of elk that fell through the ice on the lake and all died; there has been parts of the lake that is contaminated, don't worry though they took a crane and found almost all of the elk and drug their waterlogged bodies from the contaminated lake!!! So have fun, watch out for elk parts, and don't drink the water... ”

Carmike Cinemas
Jul 2, 2006 by Kathleen from Moscow

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • Very nice that they allowed my 97-year-old mother-in-law free, saying it was because of her walker!
  • See above. Forcing us to watch LOUD, raucous commercials was pure HELL.

“Moscow's Carmike Cinemas in the Palouse Mall have begun to add loud, fast paced advertisements for five minutes before the previews start. I could hardly stand the LOUD previews before this added intrusion on my sanity, and the commercials made it seem like 15 minutes in Hell (literally). I pay to see a movie and resent being forced to sit through commercials. I will NEVER enter the theater again before the main feature starts. The main feature (in this case, Superman Returns, was violent and loud enough, but it was my choice to pay to see it. The first fifteen minutes preceding the film were pure torture. Whenever possible from here on out, I will wait to rent the movie and watch it at home. ”
