Twin Lakes Travel Park
Oct 28, 2009 by Roland from Davie

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • I only visited so can leave any time.

“This place is terrible. My good friend has been renting there for 3 1/2 years and has tolerated more than anyone else I know would ever even consider putting up with. The water is constantly off and tastes like run off from the city decompose dump just across the main road. Never drink that water. It will make you sick and when you shower you actually feel dirtier than before the shower and after a while you smell like decomposing trash. Its very over priced for what you get/don't get. They do not enforce the noise laws nor do they enforce the policy of others staying off the rented lots of others. I personally have watched as a neighbor walks within just several inches of my friends window and he has complained repeatedly and endlessly. They do nothing. The only resolve is to just leave or best yet not even consider using that RV Park. I would never rent there nor would I ever recommend anyone to rent there for any amount of time. I didn't even see them worth of the 1 rating I gave. Thats my own honest opinion after having visited there many times. Stay away from this one and spend your money on something much better and more relaxing.”

Downtown Disney Village
Oct 26, 2009 by Margaret Eastman from N Redington Beach, FL

Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8

  • The charm of the original place is gone.

“I have been going to Downtown Disney Village since it was Buena Vista Village and I still enjoy it a lot. I do think that it has become too commercial and has lost a lot of it charm over the years. I loved the place when it was small, I remember the small shops that were along the parking lot side, they were very unique and now as with all else, it has all been changed to Disney items. I remember my husband and I used to like to be there when it was quite cool and a light rain falling. We would just walk for hours, so beautiful and romantic, now it is all business, very crowded. I still enjoy coming occasionally but it has changed.”

Disney World
Oct 25, 2009 by Vanessa from Indianapolis

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • I loved space ship earth, a grand feature of Epcot.
  • The cost of food was astronomical.

“I had never visited Disney before and had no intentions of doing so. While other parents were making the family jaunt to Orlando, I was taking my daughter to London and Bangkok. So when my daughter, a CP there, insisted that time at Disney would be more than worth my while, I decided to open my mind and my purse. Need I say, I am writing this review because I was taken aback by the magic of Disney. Every park, every ride, every convenience is well-appointed, meticulously and gloriously planned to the nano-detail! All is thoughtful, clean, safe, and engaging. It is a world of ultra-imagined adventures and experiences. If I ever read that book about the 100 things to do before one dies, I would expect to find Disney on that list.”

Ginnie Spring Outdoors LLC
Oct 19, 2009 by Scott from St. Pete

Overall Rating: 4 User Rating Score: 4

  • Spring and river were beautiful, plenty of tubes and canoes.
  • Expensive, below average restrooms, and basic sites.

“We had six adults and 3 children under age 6 in one campsite and the price was crazy. They charged for the site plus per person (over the age of 6) per night. If you weren't on the river the sites were very basic for the price. The restrooms were below average. In addition, it didn't seem to be any oversight by management. Campers partied with extremely loud music until 4:30 AM. The inner tube and canoe rentals seemed nice and convenient. The campground store was nice.”

Fort Walton Beach Golf Club
Sep 30, 2009 by Mike from Cleveland, Tennessee

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Just about everything.
  • They try to pair you up with someone when by yourself.

“I've played at Fort Walton Golf club, the last three years we have been on vacation there. The courses both pines and oaks are a joy to play. I played every day a couple of weeks ago and had a blast. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The grounds keepers do excellent job keeping the courses in great shape. I would put FWB golf club up against our Country club here. I look forward to playing again next year. I'm a member of our city owned course here and its like playing in a rock pile compared to FWB.”

Wekiva Falls Park
Aug 19, 2009 by Ricky from Orlando

Overall Rating: 2 User Rating Score: 2

  • Beautiful landscape and scenery.
  • Poor management.

“Not a place for kids or young people. A lot of partying fights breaking out, no life guards or staff controlling anything. I saw drugs and other things at this place, complained to staff, said nothing. As we were packing up to leave, another fight broke out, turned into a rumble. We passed 4 lake county sheriffs on our way out the gate. This place breeds undesirables with no rules, all the drinking you want and no management to control animals they let in.”

Sea World
Aug 19, 2009 by STEVE from ST. LOUIS, MO

Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7

  • All shows are included in the price, and do not cost extra like Six Flags st. Louis.
  • It is too crowded. Snacks cost a lot.

“I generally liked sea world. Shamu was a wonderful sight. It rained a lot when I was there so a lot of the rides were shut down. If I were to offer a tip for this attraction, bring a back pack, leave purse in hotel or car, just bring in what you need. I have sensitive feet and all the walking really hurt my feet. Also, if you are planning on visiting sea world, in conjunction with other parks in the area, I would recommend to give your self some time to recover from all the walking. We booked everything online, and didn't think of having a day to rest between parks.”

Royal Lanes Bowling
Aug 1, 2009 by Felix from Land o' Lakes

Overall Rating: 4 User Rating Score: 4

  • Pretty big.
  • The people who work there are mean and it's what makes that place worth not going.

“It is a very dirty place, its an old building. They have lots of problems with their lanes and there food is good but greasy. I would suggest going somewhere else but other than that its not as bad as I made it sound. Still could be better.”

Fiesta Bowl
Jul 28, 2009 by JC

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • Very clean lanes/business/bathrooms.
  • Added their own tip without authorization at snack bar.

“The bowling lanes were nice and clean. We ordered from the snack bar, and food wasnt bad but use CAUTION when using a credit card. They added their own tip to my credit card receipt. Without my consent, so always make sure you put a line through the tip amount. I stood at the window to order, holding the baby who was wiggling around, she did not offer to assist holding receipt so I just signed it quickly, not much involved so no tip was left, but I guess she thought otherwise.”

Disney World
Jul 23, 2009 by Michael from Mansfield PA

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Fun, great time for young kids, memories forever.
  • Hollywood studios is not for kids.

“A magical place! I went there with my family (2 adults 3 children.) The first place we went was the Animal Kingdom. What a cool place for little kids to see many animals they will never see. Prices were good, not to packed and great customer service. Our Second Park visit was to the Magic Kingdom. Hands down the best! The only park that every one of my kids could do everything, (almost) great environment, great customer relations, good food prices, did not use express pass - so line wait were usually 15 to 20 minutes. The third day we used the park hop option and visited Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Epcot was the one park that everyone said stay away from but turned out to be one of our better trips. Got to see Nemo and live fish, and also stop at Character spot and had picture with all Disney characters, (inside a plus) Hollywood Studio, however, for us was horrible. 120 minutes wait for everything! Prices were much higher on food and, overall, it was not fun for anyone under 13. All in all anyone with kids under 10 should stick to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and the water parks. Also if price is an issue you can stay off Disney at many of the local resorts, we stayed at Liki Tiki Village, in a two bedroom Condo. It was very nice, allowed us to save a ton of money because we just bought grocery and cooked instead of eating out ever day.”

Nelsons Fishcamp
Jun 20, 2009 by L & R from Palm Bay, FL

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • Friendly staff.
  • Filthy, rundown trailer park.

“This is a dilapidated trailer park with broken down trailers interspersed between run down ones. Several had boarded up windows and a number of them had no windows or doors. The staff is very friendly, that's why they get a 1 but we left early because the place was filthy. Our efficiency, didn't have towels, sheets or toilet paper. The coffee filter had never been cleaned out so there was mold growing in it. We had to defrost the tiny fridge/freezer because no one else did it. Who knows when the toilet and bathtub last had a good cleaning! We rented a boat and literally, the worker picked up a big bag of trash left in the boat. The life vests were dirty, wet, ripped and just lying in the water on the bottom of the boat. It's obvious no one cares to keep clean or in good repair just about everything there. Do not go there!”

Gulf Coast Hospital
Jun 16, 2009 by Molli from cape coral

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • There were a few nice nurses.
  • Most of the staff seemed oppressed.

“Lets just say Gulf Coast is more like a third world hospital. They used my hospital gown as a curtain, there were no nice blue paper coverings like they had at Health Park, just me in the bare air. No expense was 'spared' (heavy sarcasm). It was so different from Health park where they kept me warm etc. I never want to go to Gulf coast hospital again. (And yes, I had health insurance, I was not a charity case).”

Cinemark Cinema 20 At Festival
Jun 3, 2009 by Rebecca from Kent, United Kingdon

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Comfortable, atmosphere, lovely staff, value for money.
  • No ice cream.

“We wanted to go to a cinema where you didn't have to pay for parking and where we could do a spot of shopping too. Cimemark is based in the festival shopping mall on International drive and ticked all the boxes. We were absolutely delighted with the cinema. Its got an old fashioned movie house style to it but the seating is exceptionally comfortable. There was plenty of leg room and the seats reclined. We are planning on going again because it was such a pleasant experience. The mall is a sad place though with lots and lots of empty shops.”

South Florida Baptist Hospital Inc
May 8, 2009 by Barbara from Plant City

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • Hospital is in my home town.
  • Hospital has attacked credit of a paying customer with excellent credit history.

“I had surgery at plant city South Florida baptist hospital. My insurance paid 80 percent of the bill. My portion was 20 percent. When I requested a payment plan, they sent me instantly to a collection agency. They are refusing to remove the fully paid account from my credit report. The collection agency says I was 24 hours late on one payment. The Hospital was fully paid by a customer and yet they vindictively want to punish me for using their services. I have never had such a malicious experience with payment of medical bills. I do not recommend using Southern Baptist and will never go there again myself.”

Camping On The Gulf Holiday Travel Park
Apr 5, 2009 by Rebecca from Nicholasville

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • The heated pool is very comfortable and the kids enjoyed it during the chilly weather.
  • Too pricey, poor service, not enough staff on site to keep the facilities clean.

“Camping on the Gulf certainly wasn't anything near our expectations. While the beach is beautiful and the water is breathtaking, the campground is way too expensive for the services and amenities on site! We spent the same amount at this campground as we would have paid for two weeks elsewhere. The bath houses were roomy but you had to get there early for them to be clean. If you bring your own golf cart, be prepared to pay additional fees as this park charges you to use your own cart. And you must stay under 4 1/2 miles/hour while driving as they actually have speed signs that will flash at you if you go over their limit. Don't even think about driving after dark (although their rules and regs state that you must have lights on your cart for after dark driving). They boast of a $2 ice cream cone that they conveniently shut down the machine after they took our money and served a 1/3 cone of watery ice cream then told us that we could come back in two hours for a free cone within two hours. You'll need to carry your trash to the park dumpster located by the bath house. Before we left, they management made our neighbor move 3 sites down from a slip he had been in since January. He was staying through the end of May but was told a spring breaker would be needing his space for the week. When we asked him how they could just make him move he replied, 'You evidently haven't been here before. They move people from slip to slip all day long. We made the best of our vacation and enjoyed our time together but had I known what we were in store for at this campground, we would have made reservations elsewhere. We will not be return to this campground.”

Twin Lakes Travel Park
Feb 20, 2009 by Charlie from Virginia

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • Pool area, games.
  • Bad bathrooms, poorly organized staff.

“We chose this place because we wanted to stop for a couple days near Ft Lauderdale and get some laundry/errands done before heading to the Florida Keys. There was water/electric but it certainly was not a typical RV park site one would expect. Also the place is almost entirely permanent mobile homes so we felt out of place as a short time visitor. There are many activities and the pool is nice for relaxing though. The restrooms however were bad and after my shower I wasn't sure if I was actually any cleaner. I suppose for a brief stay in order to get chores done or to just sit by a pool all day, this is an okay place but certainly not a great nor pretty RV park.”

“This was our first stay here. The park is aesthetically pleasing, with large landscaped sites. Please be warned, however, that your stay here can be either the best or the worst of times. Ours was the latter. Oh if you are a party animal, you will have a very difficult time, time wrestling the Human Megaphone trophy from? Whatever her name is, anyway, party on Wednesday and Thursday, big time. No party Friday - bad news. If you are seeking a quiet and relaxing RV park to stay, you have been warned.”

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Wonderful place for the whole family.
  • Nothing.

“One of the most beautiful places in Florida. When I was 14 my family took a trip to Nelsons fish camp, I know it says fish camp but this place is amazing. This is where I caught my first 8lb largemouth. I will never forget being in the boat with my grandpa and my father. Those Bass love Shiners, the river is so peaceful its as if Monet is painting every bend of the beautiful Oklawaha River shimmering with wild life. My grandmother and grandfather were snow birds they would come and stay for the winter. My father, mother, my sister and I could not wait to get there. It's a quiet place, safe for the whole family. I would encourage anyone to take their family there. In this world of video games and home entertainment a child could easily loose the wonder of mother nature. I employ you to take your children here for the time of their lives, I am now 37 and I plan on taking my son as soon as I get the chance. thank you, I'll never forget the fond memories.”

Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital
Oct 21, 2008 by Sherri

Overall Rating: 2 User Rating Score: 2

  • Doctor and assistant nice and friendly.
  • Very expensive band aid.

“September 2008 My 16 month old grandson was scratched in the face by a cat. The walk-in clinic sent us to ER at Helen Ellis. Four or five hours later a very nice friendly doctor and his assistant cleaned the scratch and put a band aid on it. The hospital charged $453.10. The doctor's bill for $285.00 came a month later. The total charge for this service $738.10. Since the grandson is not insured there is a 20% discount on doctor bill ($57.00)! So now total bill for thorough cleaning and band aid with no insurance $681.00. When I called to complain to the hospital about the charges I was told $453.10 is the basic charge for presenting yourself in the emergency room.”

  • Could be a really fun place for families.
  • Staff yells at children and very rude.

“Do not take children here, they are not welcome. My friend and I took our girls to the alley on a Thursday morning. We were almost the only ones there. The girls each crossed the line once and were very rudely yelled at. Once the rules were explained, they did not do it again. The two ladies running the place continued to yell at each other and our children until we left. One lady even informed us that this is not a playground. The girls were not bothering anyone, hurting anything or causing any problems. They were simply acting like almost 3 year olds. I have never been treated so rudely at a family friendly establishment. If you do not allow children, thats fine, just put a sign on the door stating that. My fried planned on having a birthday party there. If 2 little girls bring those women to screaming, what would 8 children do to them? I called back later to voice a complaint to the manager, who apparently is the rudest of the two, and she insulted me and my parenting. She also said that children were welcome if the parents could control them and have raised them right, which she told me I have not. She then hung up on me after she yelled and insulted me some more. We will never set foot in that place again, because apparently you have to be a senior citizen and a miserable person to bowl there.”
