  • Beautiful city, well-groomed, and close to everything in DFW. The Mandalay Canal is lovely!
  • I would love to see more restaurants and shops cropping up!

“Recently I have visited Las Colinas and there are many beautiful sites to see. Of course, when people hear the name "Las Colinas," they immediately think of the mustangs and the clock, which are something to see, but since my stay in Las Colinas, I've noticed that there is something more...something I hadn't noticed several years ago. Las Colinas has the feel of a very well-kept, beautiful suburb, but it's located very conveniently to Dallas and Fort Worth. A few of the many nearby attractions, which are less than 5-15 minutes away, include The Four Seasons, Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine (about 15 minutes away), Grapevine Vintage Railway that goes to the Fort Worth Stockyards and offers some very unique tours, and Texas Stadium in Irving. My favorite part of Las Colinas is The Mandalay Canal, which gives the area such a beautiful, relaxing feel. There are several luxury hotels very close to the canal. Although the Omni Mandalay Resort ranks, in my opinion, as the finest hotel in Las Colinas, (and possibly among the finest I've seen), my stay at the Wyndham-Las Colinas Hotel was quite pleasant. I don't remember a time when I've ever received service and hospitality with such attention-to-detail. They really go out of their way to serve their guests and I truly felt like a VIP. It's quite apparent that Las Colinas is in a huge developmental stage, with so many big companies in the area. There's no telling what the chamber of commerce has in store for the future of tourism in their pretty little city. I would go so far as to say that Las Colinas is among Texas' "best kept secrets"...a must-see!”
