Sioux Gateway Airport may not be the largest airport in Iowa, but it does have the state's longest runway at 9,002 feet. The airport is currently served by Northwest Airlines offering seven daily nonstop flights to Minneapolis. Two of these flights are operated with RJ 85, 69-passenger regional jets and one is operated with a Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ) 50-passenger aircraft. The remaining four flights use a Saab 340, a 33 passenger aircraft with leather interiors. The compact airport terminal has some amenities that are typically only found in larger airports including two passenger-loading bridges and a business center with multiple workstations.
