Orlando Sanford International Airport, located approximately 18 miles northeast of Orlando, Fl., caters primarily to vacationers, in particular passengers on international charter flights. The modern airport consists of two terminals: Terminal B for North American flights and Terminal A for international charters. Terminal B is a comfortable, yet typical (read ho-hum) airport facility. Terminal A, on the other hand, offers several diversions to pass the time including the Altitudes Arcades and the Guest House, a premium lounge featuring a comfortable reading room, a youth entertainment center with Sony Playstations, a home theater and free soft drinks and snacks. The airlines serving the airport include jetsgo, Pan Am Clipper Connection, TransMeridian, Vacation Express and several international charter airlines.
