Louisville International Airport is located in Louisville, Ky., home of the Kentucky Derby and the Louisville Slugger among many other noteworthy attractions. Nine airlines service the airport offering nonstop flights to over 20 destinations. The airport is currently in the midst of a $41 million terminal renovation project slated for completion in 2005, which will upgrade service amenities, expand facilities and give the airport a more modern ambiance. As part of this project, the airport's gates were re-numbered with the Delta, Continental and Northwest wing becoming Concourse A with gates A1 - A14, and the United, USAirways, Midwest Connect, Southwest and American wing becoming Concourse B with gates B2 - B19. Whether you're in Louisville for bourbon or baseball bats, the airport aims to be a modern and pleasant way to begin or end your trip.
