The airport started out as a private airfield in the 1920s built by flying aficionado, Dr. Clifford "Kip" Strange. The small airport is currently served by seven airlines offering nonstop flights to 13 destinations with the most daily departures to Washington, D.C., New York's LaGuardia, Boston, Chicago and Philadelphia. The terminal building is easy to navigate with ticketing and baggage claim on the lower level and access to boarding gates on the upper level. The airport is currently building a new parking garage, so you may run into some construction.
