Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is located in Phoenix, Ariz., were the great expanse of blue sky is like a sea above the desert landscape. The airport is served by 18 major airlines and three commuter airlines providing nonstop flights to 89 cites in the U.S. and 17 cities in Canada, Mexico and Europe. There are three terminal buildings - Terminal 2, Terminal 3 and Terminal 4. Each terminal has its own parking garage, car rental facilities, shops, restaurants, services and ground transportation facilities. Free transportation between terminals is provided by green and white inter-terminal shuttle buses. The airport recently opened a Stage & Go lot where drivers wait in their vehicles, free of charge, while passengers deplane, pick up luggage and walk out to the curb - eliminating the need to circle the terminals. The airport was named the "Best Public Museum" in the August 2004 edition of Phoenix Magazine, because its extensive art collection is viewed by thousands of travelers who might never set foot in a museum.
