It is located in the city of Minot, the state's fourth largest city and the trading center for a large portion of northern North Dakota, southeastern Saskatchewan and southwestern Manitoba. Scheduled passenger service is provided by Northwest Airlines offering three daily, nonstop flights to and from the airline's hub in Minneapolis/St. Paul. The airport's terminal has two gates - Gate 1 is used by Northwest and Gate 2 is used by the occassional charter flight. On the airport grounds, you will find the Dakota Territory Air Museum with several vintage planes and historic aviation photographs on display.

“The airport was so little. It has one entry and one exit. I'm used to flying through Atlanta, and Baltimore. There was nowhere to eat or just chill there. Its too dam cold here to not have a chill place.” Popular Attractions in Minot
