Lubbock International Airport is a small airport located in Buddy Holly's hometown of Lubbock, Tex. Four commercial airlines service the airport with Southwest Airlines offering the most daily departures. Non-stop flights connect the residents of Lubbock to larger Texas airports plus Albuquerque and Las Vegas. Ticketing, boarding gates and the baggage claim are all on one level in the terminal making the airport easy to navigate.
