Burlington International Airport is Vermont's largest airport offering commercial flights as well as private and charter flights. The airport is located three miles east of Burlington, Vermont's most populous city with approximately 40,000 residents. The city is located on the shores of Lake Champlain and is home to the University of Vermont. Students, locals and tourists alike take advantage of the airport's flights to Chicago, Ill.; Pittsburgh, Penn.; Philadelphia, Penn.; New York City; Boston, Mass,; Cleveland, Ohio; and Albany, N.Y. provided by the airport's three airlines - US Airways, United and Continental.
