St Michael's Festival (Feria de San Miguel)

Bullfighting fans poured into last year's San Miguel Bullfighting Festival in September. A solo performance by matador Victor del Puerto with pedigree bulls from several renowned stockbreeders, and matadors Finito de Cordoba, Manuel Caballero and Francisco Rivera Ordonez took center stage. Despite local matador Morante de la Puebla's miss at the festival last year, who didn't take part due to financial disagreements with the organizers, the festival was a hit. This year's event should prove to be even more colourful and lively. Ticket prices vary and can be booked in advance.
