Oatlands Flour Mill and Doll Museum77 High Street, Hobart, AustraliaTel: +61 (0)3 6254 1212 Designed by John Vincent, this windmill is the third oldest in Australia. It stands some nine metres tall and its walls are over 60 centimetres thick. It is a fine example of colonial architecture and ingenuity, and it is the only tower of its type remaining in Tasmania. Within the Flour Mill complex, visitors can explore the original and well preserved granary and lovely miller's cottage, which now houses a fine doll museum. The permanent exhibition consists of more than 2000 international dolls and many fine examples of dolls produced by Tasmanian artisans. Admission: Mill entry free; Doll Museum AUD2.
