On its paved terraces there is a Ben and Jerry's ice-cream parlour and an area where public folk dancing takes place on Saturday lunchtimes. A very 1960s looking concrete plaza at the bottom of Ben Gurion Street has a stairway leading down to the beach. Despite the plaza's ugly and neglected look, its restaurants perched high above the Med, have the advantage of a view over the beach and marina. Tel Aviv's yachting marina is to the right of this beach, as is the Gordon Swimming Pool.
