Located near Council House and pretty parkland with a lake, the local museum in Armadale offers a pleasant spot for an outing. Armadale History House is part of the Minnawarra Historic precinct. The museum contains pioneer exhibits, Aboriginal history displays as well as geological finds from the area. The attendants are helpful, friendly and well informed. History House staff are more than happy to assist with directions, so call beforehand. Admission is free.
