In the heart of the beautiful Battery Point Historic Precinct nestles a collection of 15 quaint Georgian mariners' cottages. The single-storey brick cottages, built from 1847-1852, are arranged irregularly around a pretty village green and have been beautifully restored. The area has changed little since the 1850s and visitors can experience a leap into the past as they gaze at the pretty cottages, and wander the lovely streets of Battery Point. Alongside the nearby village shopping centre, the historic homes of the Circus form a focal point for visitors to the area.
