Church of the Holy Cross (Kosciol sw. Krzyza)

This is a simple but impressive Gothic structure located near the city walls, just behind the Julius Slowacki Museum. The simplicity of the exterior contrasts suprisingly with the rich interior which has beautifully coloured wall paintings dating back to 1420 ('The Agony in the Garden' in the Chapel) and wonderful Gothic vaults.
