Australian Service Nurses Memorial

This memorial, which was unveiled by Sir William Deane (former Governor General of Australia), is dedicated to the memory of all the nurses who served in wartime - people, who with sacrifice and courage, risked their lives for others. The memorial is composed of two sea-coloured glass walls, which form a corridor. Inside the corridor, the walls are decorated with words, images, and the names of the countries and wars in which nurses have provided their assistance. The words beyond all praise are inscribed on the front wall.
