The 1829 granary in Richmond's high street is now home to a bookshop with Internet access and an art gallery. Soon the top floor will be a conference room. With the floors stripped back to the original boards and the heavy timber beams, the character and integrity of the delightful old building has been maintained. Specialising in Tasmaniana, the bookshop is well worth browsing and the gallery upstairs features quality paintings and furniture from local artists. Check emails from AUD2 or buy a bunch of fresh flowers for someone special.
