The Soofie Darbaar mosque is not to be confused with the Sufi Darbar Mosque. This mosque lies on Quarry Road, a main artery off Umgeni Road. It is an integral part of the community and functions as a creche, school and karate studio as well as a place for religious worship. This place has a real buzz about it, and it is nice to see such a close community. Visitors are welcome, but requested to leave their shoes at the door. Entrance is free.
