This mosque, situated some way out of town on the road north, was the first mosque built for the Quadi order of the Moslem faith in South Africa. The design is based on two mosques: one in Randir Village, India, and the other in Nairobi.

Visitors are welcome, but must leave their shoes at the door. There are separate areas of worship for men and women, in line with the Moslem faith.
