Set in a striking, contemporary building in Glenwood, a few minutes from the city centre, the Natal Society of Arts Gallery (founded 1905) is also home to the society head quarters. It seeks to display the great variety of arts and crafts in the province while promoting the artists within the region. There is a restaurant, 'Colours', and a gift-shop, with playground facilities for those children who don't appreciate the gallery as much as you do. The shop has articles from across the continent as well as local products.
