If you are not an experienced rider and are willing to put your ego aside for an hour, you can ride horses in their barn for a while, just until you get acquainted with your horse, of course. Then, once you have got your horse legs, these kind folks will take you out on the trails and into the woods. Kids are welcome as there are ponies on hand. It is best to call ahead but if you are suddenly horse-struck, drop by and they will accommodate your needs. Bring cash as no cards are accepted. Costs about Sfr33 per hour.
