ANZAC Memorial Chapel of St Paul

The ANZAC Memorial Chapel serves as the religious centre for the defence community of Canberra. It was funded by public subscription and opened on 30 April, 1966, as a memorial to the ANZACs of World War I. The entrance to the Chapel is lined with mountain ash and has tall, narrow, glass windows. Above this is a hexagon-shaped tower with a copper roof, surmounted with a copper-sheathed spire and cross. The building contains two separate Chapels, one is Roman Catholic, and the other is combined Anglican and Protestant. Phone for service times.
