Burrator Reservoir was built in 1898 and is on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park. The reservoir is stocked with rainbow trout. All fishermen must hold the correct EA Rod licence. Day Ticket for trout fishing costs #8.50; tickets from the ESSO Garage in Yelverton. The fishing runs from March 15th to October 12th. This is also an excellent place for walking, with footpaths around the lake.
